I was on the search to upgrade my bar soap as the one I would get at the local pharmacy just wasn't cutting it anymore. I bought this soap set while it was on sale and do not regret it. so much so that it prompted me to go to the company's website and buy their gift box set!Now, Im the type that showers twice a day so morning and night. I also use a washcloth and lather it once. 1 bar of soap within this set will last half a month with the frequency of daily showering will last me three weeks so that means the 3 bar set last 2 months and 3 weeks. Yup, I like to see what Im getting for my money so I had to do all of that math.With that said, it is so moisturizing and deep cleansing. I truly feel cleansed by the end of my shower especially in the pit area as I suffer from Hyperhidrosis under my arms so I use heavy deodorants as a result and this thing still manages to remove the build up and is so strong that it replaces it with the scent of the bar. Love it!Now for the scent, it is so FRAGRANT and to me that is a great thing! When I first opened the bar and placed in my shower it took up to 5 minutes for the whole bathroom to smell like it and 3 more minutes for the smell to reach my living room....MY GOODNESS! Even my maintenance people who came on my apartment made a comment on it and I giggled to myself, haha! So needless to say if you're one who likes to wear perfume, you may be able to skip it some days as this soap will be all the perfume you need if you want. The smell from the bar doesn't smell artificial either which I am pleased about.With the nature of how this soap is comprised, you will have to wash your shower more frequently to remove the build up. For me I have to wash my shower like 2 to 3 times a week but that's because I also use a body lotion that is natural as well so its just builds times 2 when it comes to shower time, sigh. But hey, the quality of the ingredients makes it all worth it for me. As nothing feels better than being able to step out of the shower feeling a deep sense of cleanliness..Affordable self-care.I will be sticking to this brand for some time and hope that they do not change the ingredient list. Its good as it is! Just maybe increase the bar size or lessen the degradation time of the bars so it can last longer?

This soap is excellent. Impressive lather and smell. I actually replaced my shaving gel and lather up with the soap instead. Smooth and clean shave. Actually wash my face one extra time a day now. Skin feels great and dark spots almost gone. Also, the soap lasts a long time, using for (2) months and 50%+ left. Started using the other bar in the shower as well. I'm going to buy some for stocking stuffers this Christmas (the boys are early 30's - I'm not Scrooge).

TL/DR: 3.5 stars. Great lather, fragrance disappears quickly. Much smaller than expected.I really wanted to love this soap. I love the company and what they stand for, and frankly it is good soap. It does a great job lathering up and cleaning, and doesn't contain any nasty stuff. It's good soap. I just wish the cedar and pine smell would have hung around a little longer. It starts off smelling great, But just ends up smelling soapy after a week or so of use. The smell definitely changes over time and loses a lot of its initial potency. In fact at the outset it's a little too strong, kind of overwhelming, makes your whole bathroom smell like this stuff. But when it mellows and the fragrance becomes less aggressive, it's different. It doesn't smell like a forest anymore. It's almost like synthetic pine air freshener. Also, these are really small. I was kind of surprised how small they are. Definitely not a shower soap--far too small. More of a hand soap for a soap dish by the sink. I'm going to try a different scent next time, perhaps that one will stick around. Also the sharp corners of a new bar make it difficult to hold on to, and if you try to use this in the shower it's going to fly everywhere.

Wish it would last longer. Great skin care product organic. Leaves you smelling fresh. Good value for your money.

I would highly recommend. I don’t use anything else. Gentle on the skin, smells good and cleans great.

I’m officially obsessed with this brand. Perfect lather, smells amazing, feels fresh and clean after every shower and absolutely no soap residue. I’ve tried every scent now some of the scents can be strong, my favorite one so far is the avocado grapefruit. Noticed this bar of soap seems to last longer. I absolutely love it.

I love the scent and the quality of the soap. I love how it’s all natural and makes my skin feel hydrated. The mango scent though, has a really harsh grit in it. I like grit typically but this one feels like the roughest sandpaper on your skin.

This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased this soap and I love it so much! Smells so good! And feels even better after a wash :)

So really like this soap. As a guy I don't want to smell fruity after the shower, but the scent is mild and doesn't linger. But it gives me a nice refreshing smell mixed in with the hot shower to give me that morning boost (before my morning coffee boost). Good as a hand soap also. It's got hard cleaning bits mixed in to help scrub off any oils you have.Pros- Smells great, but doesn't linger. So you get your smell of choice for an uplifting boost, but won't act like a perfume- Cleans well without drying the skin. Feel much cleaner than other brands with added moisturizers.- I like it's all natural. Just too many artificial chemicals in todays world.Cons- None really. Maybe cost, but for me the feel and the smell is my guilty pleasure in the morning.NOTE:I'd recommend a good soap dish. Being natural (think like real natural ice cream), it melts quickly with water. So when sitting in the dish, you'll want it to lifted up and be dry.

This is a great natural charcoal soap. It is basically unscented, so would not recommend for anyone looking for a scented soap.Overall, I'm satisfied with this product:- lathers richly and rinses well- mildly exfoliates without drying the skin- good for face and body- all natural ingredients- as long-lasting as any normal soap bar (assuming it is dried thoroughly after each use)

This is my favourite soap! It’s great for acne and has really helped me clear acne on face and body.

So, there are some ups and downs here but the downs are really what you should expect when you buy natural/organic soaps.Firstly, being made almost entirely from saponified fats (this is a long and complicated bracket - fats are turned into soap and alcohol by action of heat in the presence of aqueous alkali, making them effective cleansers and able to foam... you could do this yourself at home quite easily) these soaps will leave a pretty grotty residue on the sides of your bath (if you've ever used African black soap you will know what I mean). Unlike other soaps which will mix with water more easily, sap fat soaps will cause a scum on the surface of the water which will attract skin cells and the like, forming a crust around the water line. Unless you want to clean your bath more often - only use these in the shower to avoid the scum building up or rinse thoroughly!The second thing to consider is that for the same reason as above, these soaps direly need to be kept dry when not in use. If you leave them in a damp shower bowl they will not last half as long as a bar of standard anti-bacterial soap.Aside from that, I have little else to say. Being from Canada, I don't think the lavender smell is quite as strong as true English lavender or even French but the smell is evident and very pleasant. There is also a minimal amount of texture to the soap so when used directly on the body they have a mild exfoliating effect. These bars foam extremely well for what they are.7.5/10.
