Madden Girl Women's Penna Gladiator Sandal

I really wanted to like these gladiator sandals. Not only are they affordable, but I liked the design of them also. Upon trying them on, the first thing I noticed was how hard it was to zip up the sandal in the back. I had to tug on both sides and pull extra hard on the zipper. I'm 5'3" (110lbs.) and petite. I normally wear a sz. 5.5, but bought a sz. 6 due to availability. My calves are not that big. However, zipping them up to my calves was very uncomfortable. I even loosened the straps to the very last hole for comfort- but no such luck. The inside of the side straps were sewn together poorly, and it seems like they burned the thread with a liter or fire, to prevent them from tearing, but THAT caused them to scratch up on my legs. The front of the sandal swerved to the right, causing an uneven look. Lastly, the front flap by my toes over extended too far out. This is just a very cheaply made sandal. Not worth $50.

Yes!!! Been looking for black gladiator sandals and I finally found them on AMAZON. I was a littles hesitant because I fluctuate between a 7.5 and 8. I did my research and read the reviews and ordered 7.5 and is "true to fit." I am a Prime Member so I got them just in time for the weekend. Sandals are sturdy and have adjustable straps that can fit any body type. FYI: shoe has a sturdy zipper in the back so no need to strap each strap one by one. You are sure to get many compliments in these babies as I did.

First I wanna say that having big calves doesn't allow you room for many gladiator sandals. So when you find a pair, you should buy 2. I love these sandals. I have a lot of scars on my legs due to an ailment and these completely cover them, allowing me to wear dresses that don't come to my ankles. I am however giving these only 4 stars, not because of the sandals (because they are perfect), but because I received then CRAZY late when they state 2 day shipping. The suggested size they give you is accurate. I am a size 8 and after answering a few questions, it was suggested I get an 8.5. I did and am in love. Enjoy!

I usually don't write a review , but I got very upset with this sandals .... I got it because they look nice and I want it to wear it this weekend , but one of them came defected on the side looks great but look at the other side there is one strap that came way too big, it looks ugly! Also they look a little too cheap :0(Going back!

Love! The top flap by my toes may cause some irritation but I'll figure it out haha worth the money!! Ignore my workout pants haha
