This is a misleading item, so trust me and read this review.It’s labeled on amazon as “Toms classic women’s shoes” but it’s actually going to arrive as men’s sizing.The price is decent but the listing makes you think you need to order a woman’s size that will add up to what you want to wear as a male. Turns out they shipped me a men’s size 10 for a women’s product after all...

The shoes I received were not up to par compared to Toms I’ve bought in the past. There were messy threads and the heels were super stiff. They were true to size but very uncomfortable. The difference in quality and comfort was more than can be attributed to ‘worn in’ shoes compared to new ones. I don't know if they were knock-offs or not but had to return them.Note: I’ve never questioned the authenticity of any shoes (and I’ve bought a lot!) purchased on Amazon and SOLD by Amazon, Zappos, etc. I purchased these on Amazon, the purchase was fulfilled by Amazon, and even though it was Amazon Prime, the SELLER wasn’t Amazon. In the future I'll use caution when buying something (especially shoes!) that says “Sold by ‘Seller Name’ and Fulfilled by Amazon”. FYI this info is usually shown near the Add to Cart button.

So these came too small, different sole, different.... everything... yet they looked like Toms. I wondered if they were fakes. But maybe I just had to break them in again? I stared at the box, it looked legit, even though my old ones didn't come in a box (got them at Urban Outfitters). Something was just off, and too much of it. Then I went online and read the reviews... my hunch was right. These are fakes. I don't know how they were able to manipulate their reviews or how they're still on here, but I'm so glad I caught this in time!

So I should have listened to everyone else's reviews but I guess for some reason I thought I would get lucky. Well I was definitely wrong. I received fake Toms. The label and the slogan inside the shoe wasn't even the same. It was honestly upsetting and the soles were not sewn in, they were actually falling out when I received them. If I wanted knock off shoes I could've easily bought them but I love the Toms brand and really thought I was getting a good deal. They came large as well but I threw them in the wash and am just going to wear them since I already spent all that money. However, I would recommend if you really want a pair of Toms shoes, go directly to a store or buy them directly from Toms to avoid anything like this happening.

I was always curious about Toms shoes. So many people I saw had them and after a few years, I finally decided to join the bandwagon. I chose a fairly neutral blue to match much of my wardrobe. As previous reviewers have said, I agree that they are (oddly enough) very comfortable for quite a simplistic shoe. The first day I wore them, however, I did get red marks on the top of my foot (from the “triangle” section), but I wore them again the next day and didn’t. I figured I just needed to loosen them up a bit. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase. I wouldn’t buy them full price, but I’d wait for another deal.

So comfortable! True to size. Picture is showing the already a little beat up but I literally wear them to run errands, work he yard, you name it.

I love the look of these shoes, but the quality is absolutely terrible. These shoes squeak like crazy and it's really obnoxious. I have two pairs, unfortunately, because I thought they would last. One is a 13 and one is a 12 (in black) as I am right in between sizes. Therefore, I can rule out it being a 'fit' issue. It's definitely the shoe. Additionally, I've worn these maybe 7 times and had them for just over a month and the material is already tearing. It'll be another couple of wears before they are complete trash. The seller should do the right thing and replace them.

Edit: These shoes took FOREVER to loosen up but now that they have, they're my favorite. I recommend getting them a little wet and wearing them until they dry.Original: I wanted to love them so much but they are simply too narrow. I ordered my normal size, an 8, from Sam's Club. They were on sale and couldn't be returned so I have been forcing myself to wear them in an attempt to stretch them. I've worn them for 8 hour work days 4 times and to every shopping trip for a month, they are still just as tight as the day they came out of the box. I've used every trick to widen them (hair dryer, stuff them with socks, a bag of water frozen, etc) and still, they squeeze my toes. So, I ordered 8.5 from here and they're snug on the toes but not painfully so. Now the problem is they're too long and slip off my heel and fold weirdly in the middle when I take a step. I've returned the two pairs ordered here and will continue trying to make the non-refundable pair wearable. Ordered myself some Bob's which look identical but are actually true to size.

Really nice looking pair of shoes. I already have four pairs of Toms, and I'm always a size four (UK), so I ordered a 4. However these were a little tight. This may have been as I wore them for the first time in Croatia, and my feet swole in the ridiculous heat (yuck). It kind of felt like these shoes hated my feet and blisters ensued. However, today I wore these shoes back in the good old UK, in it's UK summer temperatures, and they fitted perfectly. So in summary, wear these in the UK and the fit is as expected. Wear them in a warm country and they're small. Well, I hope this review helps, as its honest but may read as complete nonsense. They really are nice shoes :-)

Nice pair of espadrille but funny size. My original shoe size is 6 but these shoes are not only running small, but terribly tight, impossible to fit my foot in them. That’s why I got a size bigger which I could fit the width but too long. However, I think they are comfortable and gorgeous stylish finish for a summer outfit. Toms should get a more realistic shoe mould.

So comfy and perfect for smart casual wear. Love neutral colour too. Have bought again, but in a full larger size. Judging from other reviews, I did buy a half-size larger than I might have, which was fine for Britain, but in a hot country they were still very difficult to get on, so I recommend a full size larger for hot holidays abroad.

As a massive lover of Tom’s footwear I was disappointed with these. They are super to look at but having a raw material, with inadequate lining basically ensures these rub like hell. Especially around the ankle area. Just not fit for purpose. They are missing a softer internal. To ensure the raw canvas does not rub to and inch of your life. I’ve worn once and walked less than 15m and ended up with a significant rub on my ankle. So disappointing as they are super looking.

Bought these as a gift for my Dad 3 or 4 years ago, and now had to replace them as the originals he had were worn through.Good to see the same rope design is still around, and very pleased that half sizes are still available. Brilliant quality.
