Writes smooth, but eats lead like a lion! The eraser is a bit small, but if you have a separate one it should be okay. Genuinely the best pencil I have ever used in my life.

this simply is the best mech pencil i own. lead doesn’t fall out, slide out, snap at a feather’s touch, etc….i also like the visibility issue of seeing the tip as you write. my fingers aren’t cramped or blocking my view as i try to get a comfortable grip. so reliable. a work horse and yet the pen allows for writing precision. meets all my needs. i’m a poet and editor, so when i see that something works, i stick with it….thank Sakura Co.

Immediately fell in love with this pencil after using it. Usually I’m not a big fan of mechanical pencils, but I’ll definitely be using this one a lot from now on.

Love these pencils and buy them quiet often (I draw in a lot of different locations and like to always have one available)very lightweight and comfortable. Holds graphite great. the 0.5-mm gives a very tight and precise line, but is soft enough to get your dark thicker lines wear you need them.Only knock I would give them is the clamp for the replaceable erasers. This piece wedges into the end of the pencil and holds in the non-active graphite. I have had a few pencils where the clamp becomes a bit loose and falls out. And they are easy to lose at that point. I also tend to get rid of the metal cover for the eraser, as its a pain to keep removing every time you need the eraser (which I do...a LOT). Once you've lost the cap & the eraser, you're in a tough spot as the pencil will no longer hold non-active graphite.If you avoid that issue, you will love this pencil!

I love how durable the Sakura brand pencils are. So worth the price because the weight of this pencil is perfect! It has a nice feel when drawing. It's also a slimmer mechanical pencil that can fit in a small space in your pencil case. And it doesn't feel like it's going to fly out of my hand when I really get into drawing and just tap my pencil violently on my sketchbook, waiting for ideas lol.

This is my favorite mechanical pencil. It feels really nice in hands, and is smooth for both writing and drawing.After I lost it, I specifically searched online to find this model so I could reorder it.Very recommended.(The attached erasers are pretty bad and useless though)
