It's a really good Sword
I like everything except the way the handle fits my hand so I modified it, not a big deal, great Sword!

Feels strong and looks nice but is a tad heavy
For the price, it feels and looks well made. The fittings all seem tight and secure, even after swinging it around a bunch. It feel sturdy, and looks quite nice in my opinion. Viking-era swords (or at least modern replicas) often have a reputation for being balanced a bit forward to be more chopping oriented, but it still felt slightly heavy. I think it would benefit from just a bit of distal taper in thickness or a slightly wider fuller. As far as I can tell, I can't see any distal taper in blade thickness. My blade came sharpened, but only slightly. If you want to do test-cuts with it, you may need to do some additional sharpening yourself.

Its a good sword
It is hand forged, as if you look down the blade you can see that the blade is not perfectly smooth. Its clear that it was hammered into shape. The "blood groove" (Actually just a groove that's meant to lighten the blade) is crooked, but hardly noticeable. It fits in the sheath tightly and the blade came sharp. Tapping it on the floor and etc, I noticed that its flexible and springy but strong. High Carbon Steel, balanced..the quality's of a legitimate sword. All and all, for the price this is an amazing piece.

This is a very nice sword for the price
This is a very nice sword for the price. It came pretty sharp. Everything is tight. It has a nice balance to it and a comfortable grip. It is comfortable to use. The blade has some slight rippling to it if you look closely. It has a smaller blade then most of my swords, but all in all, it is a nice comfortable weapon to use. I recommend it!

IF I HAD TO THIS IS THE SWORD I WOULD CARRY!
This sword is very well made. It really is razor sharp. The hilt and pommel are solidly attached. The blade is oiled. A person who has been studying the Samurai Sword for years likes the balance of this sword. The fit of the sword in it's sheath could be better. You have to wiggle it to get it to slide smoothly into the sheath. Then there is nothing that holds the sword in the sheath, and there has been some discussion here at Amazon regarding how the sheath is supposed to be attached to a belt.

Definitely not worth $160.
Ok so first the positives AMAZONS packaging was awesome, handle is smooth and fits well in my hand and visually the sword is nice….OK now for the negatives Blade IS NOT sharp(Gas station knives are sharper than this) RUST on the sheath AND around the handle of sword, difficult to get sword into sheath, tip has been dulled, pommel is definitely bigger than in the pictures, and there was so much oil on the blade it was dripping out of INDIA’s package. NOT worth $160. Luckily I can clean off the rust and sharpen the blade to at home but I didn’t expect $160 to come with work right out of the box.

Gorgeous blade
Gorgeous blade, very well balanced. Bit on the heavy side, but builds up EXCELLENT momentum. Sharp enough to take out a lampshade, lightbulb, nearby ceramic vase and a chunk out of the wall. (WHUPS) Nice scabbard.

nice looking sword, but the pommel makes it unwieldy
a very nice looking sword. came sharp, and ready. though, one thing that's keeping it from a 5 star is the heavy, 3 1/2 inch wide obstructive pommel. when i swing it feels like the weight of the sword is gonna force the pommel to break my wrist. the pommel also seems a little sharp around the edges, causing it to rip my skin a little bit. I've tried using gloves, but that just makes it worse, sadly. I may just have big hands, but I still feel like the sword could have been crafted a little better in that area.if you're looking for a wall hanger, this is DEFINATLY the right choice. or even if you just have small hands/are used to large pommels, this will be a great buy for you.UPDATE: i noticed a strange odor coming from the box it was shipped in. on closer inspection i saw that there was some sort of mold growing on the inside of the box. im not sure if this was because of the way the seller was storing the box, or if that was the package carrier's fault for keeping in that sort of condition for the mold to grow like that.
