I have been a Caps fan since the franchise started. I was at the first home game at the Capital Center. I love this book. It gives a real behind the scenes look at the important events that have shaped this team. We may not have won a Cup yet but we have been lucky to witness so many great players and exciting moments.

This is an incredible book; a MUST for any Washington Capitals fan. For those of us who have supported this team since the early 1980's, (or perhaps even earlier), you'll truly appreciate the facts, stats, interviews, and all the stories contented in this page-turner. The writer really did his homework here! A very-enjoyable read...

For those of us who have adopted the Caps, this book was like meeting the biological parents, and getting the whole story of the genesis of the franchise - from a Save the Caps effort early on, that if it would have failed, would have been the end of the franchise, to the blockbuster trade bringing Langway to Washington, all of the interest8ng details of the franchise are captured in this book.

I recently purchased this book for my husband as part of his Christmas gift. He is an avid Capitals fan and was excited to get a book about the Caps that he didn't already have. He shared with me that he has enjoyed it so far and that he would recommend it to his friends to read.

Any Capitals and NHL fan will love this book. It is a must read for them. It includes lots of stuff about Alex Ovechkin, several other players, a tribute to Ace Bailey, the championship, and the team’s history. I recommend it strongly.

I am not a big reader. Hard for me to fully immerse myself into, any type of reading. This is however an exception to that. I am a huge Caps fan. This is a must for any others out there that share a love for this team!
