Liked this so well we bought it again!
We had this thermostat installed in our 45 year-old home after finally caving in to the need for air conditioning. We found this unit to be very easy to use, especially when compared the previous ones that handled heating only. In fact, it worked so well for us, and was so efficient due to the configuration options, we chose to upgrade to this thermostat in a vacation home. The app associated with the thermostat allows us to monitor heating and cooling in both locations with a single click. An added bonus is the monthly summary of heating and cooling hours provided by the associated app. The ability to choose the colors and details of the display, is welcome too. Although the initial cost is a bit more than the typical installer-provided unit, it is easily worth that for the convenience, ease of use and ability to better-manage heating and cooling expenses.

Easy to install. Easy to set up. Very easy to control. The app was easy to set up and use. We this Thermostat at our beach house. Love it shows the humidity inside as well as out and the weather. Lovecthis Thermostat.

CAN'T USE REMOTELY WITHOUT HELP FROM HONEYWELL
UPDATE- Honeywell was able to fix the issue. BE CAREFUL!!! Can't register with Honeywell to be able to use remotely. Since it's refurbished someone already has it registered. Completely useless for the purpose purchased. Going to try to contact Honeywell to see if they can help.

Well designed and easy to use
Easy to install, works great, and looks good. I bought and installed two as an upgrade. I like being able to check and set the thermostat remotely or through Alexa. My only wish is that the display would go dark after a few minutes.

Defective
Loved it at first. Colorful display, easy to read, plenty of info, easy to program.Bought a refurbished, worked all summer on Cool, however it wouldn’t communicate with my Heat Pump to switch to Heat mode. Had to reinstall my old Tstat. Got a refund for the Unit but I’m out $90 for the install.

Worked great
As long as you have a Common wire to feed this thing 3 volts, it works great. Looks like new and works like new.
