Smells just like my garden
I have Lily of the Valley growing in my garden and I love the smell. I have always wanted a perfume to remind me of that scent. I was a bit hesitant to buy perfume without actually smelling it first, but there isn't a store nearby that carries this brand/scent. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. This smells just like my garden, but not overly floral. The scent seems to last throughout the day without being overpowering.

Awesome perfume, my mom loves it.
The perfume is great, it came sealed and unopened. This was a gift for my mom and she loves the scent. The only issue was that there was this scratch on the bottle (it did not impact the spray) that I am unsure if it was from production or shipping. It wasn’t apparent until you looked closely. Otherwise, it is a great gift to give to someone you love.

The fragrance is beautiful, natural and very elegant.
The fragrance is like walking into an English garden that has gone awry, it’s sweet and lovely, but very elegant and classic.

I will not order this Eau De Toilette. But will order the actual pure perfume.
I liked the packaging. The smell will evaporate very quickly, not like what I used to buy and used to get a lot of compliments on it.

not overly sweet, and definitely smells like Lily of the valley
If you are wanting a scent that fully embodies Lily of the Valley, then this is your perfume. It is light, clean, and fresh, not overly sweet, and definitely smells like Lily of the valley. I totally recommend this perfume, and would purchase it again myself, and look in to their other scents!! When I am wearing it, people compliment me all the time and say "you smell so good", this has happened on multiple occasions.

Stale perfume on sale
I think this product was on sale because it is expired. I have purchased this perfume several times at Saks and the scent is really not the same. It smells stale and expired and I can’t return the product. I am attaching a photo can even see the liquid is darker. Can’t return so I just wasted $100

I love Penhaligon's simple
I love Penhaligon's simple, uncomplicated, superior quality fragrances. Lily of the Valley is a fresh, light, green-floral fragrance that is sweet and feminine. Perfect for spring & summer.

It's a little "weaker" than stuff from years back.
I've been using Penhalagon's products for 40 years, the first bottle being Bluebell, as a gift from my then fiance, bought at Lazarus in the US. Several trips to London over the years has given me the opportunity to get the REAL THING. This bottle of Lilly of the Valley (Muget duBois) doesn't seem to last as long. The aroma is on the money, but unlike Bluebell, it fades in about two hours. There are many new "smells" im truly not enamoured with! BTW, one of Diana Spencer's signature colognes was Bluebell, if that's ever a draw for anyone.
