Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Speed Hand Blender (Renewed)

Bought another brand for $20 something. It got very hot and was poorly made. This was $4.00 cheaper, I guess 'cause it was "RENEWED" Believe me this Cuisinart makes me happy so far. Didn't use it yet but it ran 1 minute without getting burning hot and seems solid and overall: ready to do the job. Will update this if any problems but I doubt that will be the case. Down side: no froth maker & bigger box. Upside: smoothie container and variable speed. Tip: Hold 'unlock' button & then press on button to run. Can release lock button after running. Oh yeah, good instruction booklet and name brand.

what they do not tell you, is that when it is all put together this thing is like a foot tall, maybe a foot and a half! It dwarfs other stick blenders... Realistically what this means is that you need to figure out how you will best be able to hold it and control it.If you can do this, then you should like this machine, it has ample power and is easy to clean. All told I am happy with it

Not the most powerful, but works

I had been wanting to order one of these hand held blenders for a while. I ran across this refurbished one, I was a bit afraid that it would look used or worn, but everything about it was brand new. I was not disappointed at all. It's a great product, easy to use and clean. It came with two attachments, a measuring cup and a bag to keep it all in. No complaints about the product.

Broke after 1st use. It was refurbished and bought it when I was moving in to my new house and was forgotten about for a few months in moving boxes. When the time came and we used it. It worked well and did what it was supposed to, was kinda impressed until the next time we tried using it. Didn't work. And since it had sat there for a while, the warranty was over and can't get anything back out of it. Buy a new one I guess.

cons: my hand will cramp after some time trying to keep the button pressed. Little plastic cup gets cut up inside some how.Otherwise this is super great, blends ice into a slushie just like a blender! I learned you don’t have to hold the safety and on button at the same time, just press safety to start then hold the power button only. Really saves your grip strength. I hope this lasts a decently long time.

This is a fantastic mixing stick it saves me a lot of time in the morning where time is short it has a lot of power more than I expected and very quick and easy to disassemble and clean

Although this was a refurbished item, it looks and works as if it was new. It arrived on time and had the instruction manual with it.
