The knobs don't fit as flush as the OEM parts. But they do work well and feel secure. Can't really complain at all for the price point.

So I purchased these knobs, because I just couldn't get myself to pay $35 (plus tax) for one at Ford. The heater knob on my 2003 Escape broke, but I didn't give it much thought until it started getting. The third knob pictured is the one that fits my Escape, and is visually identical to the original. A couple of things to note for anyone looking to purchase this set. The knobs aren't painted with a white strip. The light does come through to illuminate the knob, but it is clearly less than the originals. Also when replacing the knob make sure the metal clamp from the broken knob is not still on the metal shaft, otherwise it won't go on. It's a very snug fit so you'll probably have to give it a firm push. I gave it four stars because the light shows dimly through the dial marker, but otherwise it's a great cheap replacement.

better off taking the little money this item is and just give it to a bum they say it fits an 2001 ford escape well thats a damn joke this guy shouldnt even be able to sell anything on amazon as these knobs are cheap and dont even fit i have to litery push one knob in with so much pressure i feel like im going to break my climate control and yes only one knob will fit and it sticks out about an inch so it looks completly retarded so dont even buy from this guy your better off spending the 25 and get them from ford that will fit perfect

Perfect fit

As mentioned in some of the other reviews - this is an assortment pack of control knobs. I purchased 2 of these sets for a 2002 and a 2003 Ford Escape. Each vehicle had one of the heat control knobs that had broken in the back and just spun around on the control shaft. You could never tell what setting it was on. Only 1 of the 3 knobs actually fits the Ford Escape (thus the reason I purchased 2). You must take note to make sure the metal insert from the old knob is not left on the shaft, otherwise the replacement one will not slide all the way on. Needle nose pliers work fine. The replacement knobs installed just fine and have worked without issue since being put on. I do now, however, have 4 spare knobs that fit god knows what - lol! Besides that, they have been a much more cost effective purchase than going to the dealership.

One of them was a perfect fit for the temperature control and now I can easily regulate hot/cold from the blower. Other knobs might be useful in future, so no regrets.

They don't fit flush like the stock ones in the ford escape but they work and look good so who cares
