Easy go use and very helpful so you don't have to super worry about your toddler cutting some paper. One of them did not last long, but overall and for the price they do good.

I purchased these scissors for my grandchildren to use while playing with playdough. Even the 2 year old could use.

They only cut paper. They do not cut cloth, skin, antique furniture, hair, baby siblings, the cat, toys, neighbors, grandparents, or anything else your toddler is inevitably going to try to use them on.

The scissors are really child safe. I feel comfortable have my 2 yr old handling them. BUT they do not cut well enough - even through paper - on the outer end... they work better of you open fully and start the cut in the center of the scissor... so 5 stars for childsafety, but 3 (or even 2) for being a scissor. I ended up at 3 total.

Bought these hoping they would cut yarn so I could crochet on a plane ride, lol. No such luck with the yarn, but work great as intended! They cut paper great and not skin. Perfect for the little ones in my life.

I teach preschool and bought these scissors specifically for cutting playdough. What an awesome find. We had two playdough scissors before that everyone always wanted. For some reason the kids adore cutting playdough. I bought enough of these for the entire class and their scissor skills are really improving! I don't feel like I have to be right with them when they are using these scissors as they seem a lot safer which is fantastic when I have a classroom full of four year olds. They don't seem to cut paper great but I love them for playdough. I might use them for paper when I can't work one on one with the students.
