Great for waking or hiking.
I buy a pair of these every 2 years. I love them as they are very comfortable for walking and hiking. They provide full support for off trail hiking... They provide great arch support as I’m flat footed. The Vibram bottom provides a great no slip surface. I highly recommend them. I only replaced them every two years as I’m on the heavy side and they do compress over time.

Excellent shoes.
Love my teva shoes. They are of excellent quality and will get you through whatever hike you are on. Plus with this color good looking sandal.

Too Small
Great Teva quality, but too small. I recently blew out my Teva Tanza's after two years of almost daily wear; they were a size 10. I ordered the Strata in a 10, but they look to be at least a whole size smaller. My toes hang over the end. I'm going to try a size 11. My dogs are howlin' for some comfy new sandals in this heat...

Wonderful cushioning and well made
Bought for my husband. We sized up from his usual 10.5 to 11 and fit was perfect. He wanted to wear his worn out Birkenstocks to Disney, but I ordered these for him and he was skeptical at first. He had Tevas in past, and they had not impressed him. But he tried them on and was really happily surprised at the cushioning, support and feel. Really nice royal blue color too!!

Size issues.
I have historically worn a size 11. I ordered a size 11 and my big toe hung out over the edge. I returned them concerned for big toe and ordered a size 12. The sandals were exceptionally too big. This is odd since I have worn Teva the last 20 years. I am going to a store to try on a pair and base my next purchase from there.

Great Sandals
The sandals are new and little worn but look to be a great buy. I wear an 11.5 shoe (US) and bought the size 12. They fit perfectly; any less and they would be too short. Foot traction on the sandal upper is great as well as on the soles. They are priced higher than the traditional Tevas but appear to fall into the "you get what you pay for" catagory. I anticipate years of good use.

Teva quality it just crap anymore. Buyer beware.
Note: this review is being dropped by a career outdoor professional. These sandals are no where near a "professional" grade. If your intention is only to lallygag around the house, chill at Starbucks, and take them to Disney Land, then they will probably work for you. Maybe.I was on a roadtrip in the Spring of 2024 and needed sandals ASAP. Incredibly, I could not get the Terra-Fi 5s I've come to depend on anywhere, so opted to give these sandals a try. Read the reviews here on Amazon and they were pretty bad, consistent with any Teva sandal I've used that have not been the Terra-Fi series. Terra-Fis are not of the quality they once were but the comfort and grip of the Terra-Fis is why I put up with Teva's crap-quality. Anyway, purchased a pair of the Stratas off Amazon and yes, they were simply the second worst pair of sandals I've ever owned.Pros:* Like the Terra-Fi 5 series, the insole of these sandals is pretty awesome. I will give them that. Footbed support on the insole (high arch and material) and comfort, is out of this world.* The Strata are very attractive. They appear like an over-built Terra-Fi (that's what they are, only not as good) and the "Brown Turkish Coffee" colorway seems to blend with any outfit you might be wearing and even work in semi-causal settings where you want a sandal to blend into a more upscale wardrobe.Cons:* The straps running over the top of my feet, particularly crossing the tendons and ligaments leading to my toes... The thick, over-built straps set off some sort of nerve reaction in this area that literally left me unable to walk in them the first few weeks I had them. Almost debilitating pain, that was only alleviated by loosening the straps or just taking the sandals off. DEBILITATING. I have never experienced anything like that before from a sandal. It took months of wearing these sandals for them to effectively break my feet in, and no, I am not making this up. THEY BROKE MY FEET IN.* Hiking traction is garbage on these things. I used these sandals everyday in the Sonoran Desert from May thru October of 2024 and these sandals slid over rocks, sand, hard scrabble, outcroppings due to what must be a poor friction coefficient/substandard outsole material, and I cannot believe these outsoles are Vibrams. They are crap is what they are.* Despite being marketed as a hiking sandal, Teva's "best" hiking sandal, I guess, lateral support for the footbed was non-existent. I have used Teva's Terra Fi sandals for years for serious mountain hiking in the western United States and the Terra Fis are still, a real-deal hiking sandal. These Stratas, in my experience, are not safe to hike in beyond the visitor center parking lot of a national park. Total crap.* When immersed in water, which is what one does when out and about in Tevas (or at least, this used to be the case), the compound of the sandals' footbed becomes slick as snot, and your feet will go sliding out from under the straps. I found it IMPOSSIBLE to creek walk or lake walk in shallows with these sandals on, and literally had to take the sandals off when in the water this past summer. Holy crap, total FAIL!!!* After about seven months of daily use, these sandals show extensive wear, outsoles are worn out (already) and these incapable, destroy-my-feet sandals, that weren't trail capable when brand new, are now effectively house slippers. Total CRAP!!!* I do not recall what I paid when I ordered them but it was on the high end, like ~$120.00 USD. Wow. Just wow. Total ripoff. Conclusion: I purchased my first pair of Teva sandals in 1992 and they lasted for ten years. They were literally tanks on my feet. I don't recall what model they were but those time and adventure-tested sandals were replaced with some iteration of the Terra Fi Light and thus started the next twenty years of staying with Teva because of their extreme footbed comfort (they still dominate this area, at least for me) and ability on the trail. Terra Fi sandals still do that well. But anymore I can burn out a pare of Terra Fi sandals inside of 12 months of trail use and these Stratas burned out in less time. I cannot recommend these sandals to anyone, and anymore, unless you've got a specific model made by Teva in mind... look elsewhere. Teva and its products are not what they once were.
