Unprofetional
The book is nice but the seller 'Sunrise book store' is very much Unprofetional. Although the book was returnable, no one never came to pick up after my repeated return request (5 times atleast). Gradualy return window got closed after one month.

This is like a complete Kanji dictionary
Book has been very helpful . I got all commonly used Kanji and words which are found in Japanese newspapers and critics which is extremely helpful. This book is a valuable asset for people who are really trying to understand Japanese. This is like a complete Kanji dictionary.

A great book for learning the Japanese characters but not for an absolute beginner. The book will be more useful to one who already has some idea of the language system.

Good book. Little overpriced.
Good one.... worth buying, but first read what is taught in coaching by your trainer.Keep this at home. It will help you clear concept of kanji. And later in n3, n2, and N1. It has all the official 2136 kanji with onyomi and kunyomi for each and every word.one of the best books, I luckily bought. Once you buy it. You are sorted.I AM LUCKY TO HAVE IT.God Bless.

Poor printing
Trust me. Don't buy from disha books. The book i bought is totally bad. Its ok even the paper quality is bad. But the characters are printed again and again on top of other characters. Totally disappointed.

Does it contain all 2136 kanji in detail .has this book been divided into two sections that 1006 kanjis are in deatail and remaining are not represented with stroke order and compounds

Don't buy unless you know you have to buy this
I'll suggest to buy proper N5-N1 books for learning Japanese rather than buying this.

This is an awesome book
My daughter and her husband went to Japan to take Japanese as a second language, and to take JLPT exam. They used this book before they left. Just for kicks I also am learning some Japanese so we can practice talking to each other. This book is great. Not only does it have both alphabets and Kanji, it has words from the same symbols you are learning at the top of the page.

Very good book
it's a great complement if you are learning japanese. It has several index that makes more easy look for a kanji.
