Brilliant color, astonishing growth, a great addition to my deck
Bare root plants usually require an extended rest period after their initial planting. Not this charming little plant. Put in a large pot, leaves started developing within two weeks, flower buds after four weeks, full blooms and climber shoots in less than eight weeks. A truly impressive plant. I am looking at procuring additional climbers to get a broad array of blossoms.

Arrived healthy!
The climbing rose arrived in excellent condition. It did well when I planted it, with no shock to it. It is settling in nicely and already has a Bud that is about to bloom. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Where's my strong scent?
It is a lovely and vigourous plant and blooomed early and copiously, but already last fall (April purchase) we noted almost no scent. When I mentioned it to the seller, I got a non commital message that amounted to very little. It is now in its first bloom of this year, and the concencus of my smelling committee is "well, if you get it right against your nose, you can tell it isn't a marigold, and just might be a rose". If you want a good rose scent, I would think twice before buying Dublin Bay. Incidentally, I have ten other roses in my tiny yard ranging up to a 100 year old, ten foot Perle D'or. and have been at this for fifty years.I may have gotten a sport, or it may strengthen with age (most of us do) bu I am not please with this rose.

Arrived in very good condition and appears to be ready to grow
Intend for this climbing rose to run on a trellis. Time will tell if it is able to adapt to soil conditions.
