This bag is awesome. It's pretty close to the size and quality of a real hockey equipment bag, but much much cheaper. I definitely recommend this bag. Maybe not for a serious hockey player, but for anyone else and for lots of uses.

Best hockey bag I've ever had in 20+ years of hockey and maybe 5-6 bags:- my last one broke at the stitching, it was an expensive, large, heavy graf bag with big beefy zippers. My previous ones broke at the zipper or tore up from skates, weathering in the sun, etc.- this 36" bag is smaller than any other bag I've had, which means *it's the perfect size*. It's so nice having a bag that won't take up the entire trunk of my coupe.- I am 5'10" / 185 and wear a mix of medium and large. This should be good for anyone around my size +/- a few inches.- you don't need "airflow" in a bag, trust me. You want *no* airflow, so your car doesn't stink, and you need to open the bag, or, preferably, yard sale it on your lawn or garage.- it's so nice having a bag that's actually exactly the right size. So much easier to carry. great for narrow hallways. No getting snagged on doors. So much lighter.- it comes in a nice bright purple so you can immediately tell it's yours- hockey bags are, unfortunately, disposable, depending on how hard you are on your equipment, whether you leave it outside, etc.. In a perfect world this would have larger zippers but all my previous bag had those and they failed anyways. All the other materials look the same, there isn't really a way to make a better, tougher, hockey bag. If there were they would advertise it.... Save yourself the pain and heartache I've gone through. Get this cheap, perfectly sized bag that's just as good as every other hockey bag out there.

I purchased the 42" bag for hauling goalie equipment to and from the rink. Overall, the bag seems sturdy enough. Time will tell, but it looks to be well-constructed and made from good materials.In terms of my use case, I'm a little disappointed. I didn't expect the leg pads to fit, and they didn't - not a big deal. It's a tight fit, but everything else fits. I do like the side pockets on either end to store rolls of tape, pucks, and my clothes while I'm on the ice. I wish it had a dedicated shoulder strap. I don't think I'll continue to use it for goalie equipment, but I still expect to get a lot of use from it for travel and camping.

I hate giving reviews this early on an itrem that realy requires a stress test, but thus far it seems sturdy, is very big and hold my karate gi, 2 belts, water bottle, pads and safety gear. I havent tried throwing in some sai or Karma yet or heavy wrist and ankle weights but I'm confident it will do well

I am so happy about the durability and design of this bag. My son plays on 2 hockey teams. He plays ice hockey and roller hockey and he keeps all his gear in one bag, since most of the equipment is the same, and we sometimes run from one rink to another. We've bought bag after bag, much more expensive than this one, and they just can't handle the amount of use he needs out of a hockey bag. They fall apart and tear within a couple months, and I'm looking for another. We've tried all kinds of bags. Wheeled bags, back pack bags, every name brand hockey bag you can think of, but nothing lasted more than a couple months, and some of those months he was using it broken the best he could until I could afford a new one. So wheni I seen this one, I thought, what did I have to lose? It's much less expensive, and even if it lasted only one month I'm really not losing anything. He's had it for 4 months now, and aside from a little hole that he put in it himself by accident it's in great condition! The zipper is still working. It's over stuffed constantly and taking the abuse better than the expensive brand name bags. He really likes the bag, and I will certainly buy it again, and suggest it to my friends who's kids are all hockey players as well, and have the same issues as me. It's a great durable bag at a great price.

FINALLY, a gear bag that I can fit all my MA gear. My gi, weapons, sparring equipment everything fits. This is the best duffel I have ever owned.

Honestly this bag is comparable to the very pricey Bauer and CCM hockey bags. High schooler's gear fits perfectly, there are 2 large pockets on each end and they each hold a skate, elbow pad, tape, puck and sock. All the rest of the gear (pants, shin guards, gloves, shoulder/chest protector etc.) fit perfectly fine in the main body of the bag. Even if it only lasts one season it is well worth the inexpensive cost of this bag. Carry straps are wide/solid. You can't go wrong with this bag.

Can be a great option for football. Holds shoulder pads uniform and misc items. Sturdy zippers. Great for storing equipment at end of season. Keeps everything in one place.
