I wasn't sure what I was looking for specifically when I ordered these "shorts" but now I know what I was missing! I would rather wear dresses or skirts in the summer over shorts because I don't like the dimples on my legs. It's hard to wear dresses and not chafe! I did not want "Spanx" or anything to "suck me in." I primarily got these to prevent chafing. I am about 5 ft 5 in and they come down lower than mid-thigh (but not to my knee). I was hoping they would be mid-thigh but on someone taller they probably will be and so far the dresses I have all work with these shorts. The white are definitely see through but I would never wear these as shorts anyway. They do not dig into my legs, they stay in place- the legs don't roll up and the waist doesn't roll down. I am a size large (sometimes) XL and I ordered a large- they fit perfect! I would say it's just the slightest compression but not uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend these!EDIT: I have not worn the black pair yet but I have worn the white and the nude a couple times now. They are still very comfortable and work great under dresses. I did not that the nude pair fits a little more compression like verses the white pair. This is still what I was looking for. So if you want more of a compression then maybe all the nude in this brand is more compression like?

These shorts are made from a thicker material than I expected. It's almost like heavy microfiber tights. There's a definite texture also - it's not a slippery fabric, so some of my dresses do stick to it. I have to pull my dress down when I stand up. They seem very well made. No loose stitching, not see through.The fit is just a little bit off for me. They're mid thigh, which is great, and have a nice amount of stretch. But for me, there's not enough butt room. I can pull the front up to my bra line (even up over my chest like overalls) but the back (even when pulled up) comes barely to my waist. As I move around, the front stays in place, but the back slides down a bit. It almost feels like I'm wearing them backwards. I think they're made so the back and front are exactly the same without any extra room in the back. They might work well for an apple shaped person, but aren't quite right for us pears.One more note, the hem on the legs is a little bulky, so probably not the best choice for a tight fitting or body-con dress.If you have a small butt and are planning to wear these with dresses that are either flowy or made of a heavier material, these are well made.

I love these slip shorts! This is my second purchase now. I wear them under skirts, bodycon dresses, white linen palazzo pants and even jeans. They don’t bind or roll. They are very comfortable and I like how they give me a smooth form even with form fitting garments. I wore them under my linen dresses while on a trip to Greece in August. Yes - it was hot(!) - but I didn’t have a problem with thigh chafing when we walked sometimes nearly 8 miles over the course of a day.

Came in early (like 1 day), and fit great! I'm 5'4 and weigh 110lbs. I wear a size 2 and bought a small. Their version of a "small" is really an XS. They fit nice and snug. Not really a tummy control, specifically type of product. And I wish there was a small piece of cotton in the crotch area (bc i wear them as panties). But I honestly can't complain, theyre great! I LOOOOOVE that they're longer down my thigh, than the boyshort/briefs that Hanes sells. They work great under leggings (like 95% seemless), and dresses. They're now my go-to, daily panties. Will purchase more in the future 150%!

These are a decent alternative to thigh society slip shorts. I have two styles of thigh society that I love but I wanted something more budget friendly and these fit the bill. A few notes:• Size up! I wear an XL but got a 2XL after reading a few reviews and they’re snug but perfect• I love that they hold me in a little whereas thigh society definitely doesn’t. I wouldn’t necessarily say these are shapewear but they do have some smoothing support to them.• They’re thick and not nearly as airy as thigh society• The material causes some dresses not to slide across easily. Specifically my cotton t shirt dresses, they tend to stick a little and bunch. It’s not too bad but enough to annoy me. My thigh society ones are super silky and never do that.

Soo soft and stretchy. It doesn’t roll up like others.
