Solved my problem
Satellite Internet failed at my remote home. Viasat wanted to send me a technician ($99) but I had already determined the problem- modem power supply failed. Viasat wouldn't just sell me a replacement. After confirming modem model number I found this perfect replacement. It took six days and charged me for shipping but overall I'm satisfied after 24 hours.

I chose to keep it as a spare. My ISP gave me a new one, but I'll keep this also.

Where the heck do you get these? Amazon!
My friends internet went out. Panic, terror, running in circles... you know the drill. They live way out, have Satellite internet, and it turned out the power supply had gone dark. A quick internet search shows that this is a pretty common problem. Despite being leased equipment, the provider will charge about 100 to come LOOK at the system, then more for the part and the so called 'installation'. (plugging the darned thing in)I look at all my go-to electronics places; no joy. Internet Elx places, the same. It's a weird supply, 30 DC volts @ 2.5 amps. All my leftover power supplies were 'normal' voltage and current ratings, nothing came close. Then I checked Amazon, and sure enough, the exact item cheap. Unfortunately, not a Prime item. 8^(Shipping was half the cost of the item, and estimated delivery was a week out. (USPS~ sigh...) Faster shipping cost more than the item, and moved the estimated delivery up a couple of days, maybe. Guaranteed delivery date a couple days faster cost 3 times what the item cost. I ordered it standard shipping, cost mattered to my friend. (as it does to me!)Estimated delivery never changed, and as the item was coming from New York and we're in Arizona, I figured it would take the whole estimated time. Then it was delivered a day prior to the fastest possible estimated date! Bingo! We win again!!My friends internet is back up, calm has been restored, and all is well. Don't you just love a happy ending?
