If your window frame has a raised lip this wont work
The product is a lot sturdier than it looks in the pics. My only problem was that since the height of the panel is just slightly larger than the diameter of the hose, since my window has a lip around it, the hose sits on top of the frame leaving a huge gap between the panel and bottom of the window. I just cut a piece of wood to size and placed it at the bottom of the window opening, effectively raising the bottom of the frame. Its more a problem with my window configuration and me not taking it into consideration. The product itself seems to work fine.

Don’t expect too much
This design could be so much better. There’s no instructions to put it together, but it’s really not rocket silence so I don’t know why others struggled so much. The biggest issues for me are that it’s very thin plastic and I feel it could have been thicker to cut outside noise out more, you get a gap in the seal where the extendable part is smaller, and the hole isn’t cut practically for the exhaust to go out through, it should be higher on one part and lower on the other to work around window sills, but being dead centre (and it’s only shallow anyway) it means that the exhaust never fits properly which is really annoying and very badly designed, as it’s either popping out of the hole, or you can get it to stay but don’t create a seal around the window correctly as you have to leave gaps...

Functional.
Decent quality, but the screws were a bit fiddly to get started. Does its job very well once installed though.
