Keeps my baby warm, secure and I am happy it keeps him safe
Before I bought this sleep sack, I agonized over which product to buy for my infant. My babies had used Aden and Anais muslin blankets their whole lives. But then one of my twins started to roll (rather awkwardly, I might add) in his sleep and blankets, even muslin, became a hazard. There are so many products out there for wearable swaddles and blankets, etc. that it made my head spin. I bought this Halo on Amazon because the price was right and it seemed like a lot of people like it.I was not disappointed. My baby wore the sleep sack and immediately slept better because he was warmer, his legs weren't just hanging out, and it felt more secure for him. My baby does NOT like his arms being restricted so the sleeveless sleep sack was perfect for him. He's 6 months and in the 20th percentile for height and weight, so I bought a medium. It's a little big, but it doesn't bother him at all. The arm holes are roomy and the neck hole is large, but he kind of likes it that way. No one likes to feel like they're being strangulated when they roll over, right? My favorite thing is that the zipper zips DOWN from the neck to the feet. That way the zipper grip doesn't ever have a chance to cut baby's face, neck or hands, and little fiddling fingers can't unzip the sack. I had wondered about this purchase a lot but really, I kind of wish ,I got one sooner. I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of this one because my baby's just at the lower end of medium size. Very pleased with the quality and features of this product.

A blanket that stays on all night
I have used various sizes of HALO SleepSack for the better part of 5 years with my young children and love them. I just bought this last one as backup for the nights when we have a midnight accident. I initially started using the SleepSack for my first baby when I noticed how cold his room was at night (we live in the south and my very warm natured husband likes to set the A/C low at night). The cotton SleepSack kept my baby a comfortable temperature and wasn't loose in the crib. Also, the SleepSack didn't fall off or restrict his movement like a swaddle blanket, which is what I wanted. As he got older, but still young enough to sleep in a crib, and later a toddler bed, we kept using the SleepSacks so that he wouldn't push his blanket off in the middle of the night. The SleepSacks are roomy enough to give a child room to roll over, stand up and even walk around. My oldest was even able to climb out of his crib in it around 2 years old. For toddlers, Halo makes an early walkers version of SleepSack that has footholes to make walking easier. The smallest SleepSacks I own have been through two children now and I am beginning to use them with a third. The sizing has been accurate for us and has been generous enough that each SleepSac has fit each of my children for quite some time before moving to the next size. They have been machine washed and dried many, many times and still look almost new despite my very active little ones.

Soft, warm, comfy
I had to purchase this because my daughter kicked a hole in the first one, but she manages to walk around her room in it at night when I'm singing to her so I'd say she's kind of rough on it. This one seems more durable somehow even thought I think it's the same one, just in a different color. She is 27 months old and loves these. The sleep sack and the double mattress on the floor of her crib are how we have been able to keep her in her crib this long. We also loved the nested bean sacks but as she got older she could pull on the straps and the buttons came undone easily and then she'd try to climb out of her crib (and succeeded on numerous occasions). She has never fully unzipped this sleep sack so, phew! And she sleeps roughly 11 hours a night and takes a 2-3 hour nap every day. So yes, I recommend!

Warm and Cozy
These sleep sacks work great! I have bought many of these since my son was born a year ago and initially started out with the swaddle sleep sacks. These allow my son to stay warm throughout the night, but do not constrict him in any way. I have thought of just using a loose blanket at this point (he is almost 14 months), but he moves around so much at night he would def not stay covered. These sleep sacks keep him warm and give me peace of mind knowing that he remains covered and I don't have to keep checking the monitor to be sure of that. These wash and dry really easily and come in a wide range of colors and prints. The fleece is really soft and I know that my son knows that putting this on at night means it is bedtime. I have also used a different sleeping bag in the past that had snaps at the top so that it was easier to get his arms in and out of, I wish that these Halo ones had the snaps, but these are half the price of the snap ones so I can live without the snaps.

Great Alternative to Blankets
The fleece is soft and warm, which is perfect for using instead of a blanket. My 8-month daughter wears a sleep sack every single night and for every nap. We've been using these sleep sacks for about 3 months so far. I love that I don't have to undress her to put her in a footed sleeper. I just make sure to have her in a long-sleeve shirt and take her pants off to make sure she doesn't overheat. I bought 3 in the medium size and 3 in the large size so I can wash them every couple days, and so she has a few to use when she's older. I also love that the zipper zips from top to bottom so it doesn't rub on her chin. I would definitely recommend to any parent that wants to keep their baby warm when they sleep without the use of blankets.
