The original fitting that came with the taps was never very good, I thought it was water pressure at first, then it stated to leak so I bought this as a replacement. Really good quality, heavy metal and the spray is first class. better than the original. Easy to fit, just screw on.

The handle is slippery I had to put some tape round it.

The spray is powerful and straight.Some reviewers tell you to remove the flow control mechanism... it's designed to stop air getting trapped in the head; trapped air damages performance and causes loud noises, my advice is not to remove it, it's simply opens when the flow starts and closes when it stops.It comes with a gauzed washer to seal at the hose connector - I recommend replacing that with a normal washer - the gauze breaks the strength of the flow - imagine an LED torch compared to an old fashioned type where the beam is spread weakly.

Easy to swap over, took two minutes.

Beware! The description and listing pictures don't tell you but this item is fitted with a flow restriction device. Probably fine with a power shower but useless without. Five seconds with a flatblade screwdriver and it pops out after which it works fine. ps, don't use the filter mesh washer - a plain one is all you need.
