Covering Size, Quality and Effectiveness
Injured my back in 1995 and one of those real tight fitting neoprene back braces was the best I've every owned and back then I wore a size 34 paints and in decent shape. After 15 years of back pain and I'm 62 now, the neoprene ones will not work due to having a big fat belly. That's what happens when you live with a back problem and exercise goes out the window. Tto me the sizing in the listing was a bit confusing, so I hope this helps. Today I'm a size 46/48 pants and where they tell you to ,I measure 56" . Ordered a Regular and it fit perfect. When you get it and go to pull it out of the heavy duty zip lock bag you note it's weight, then the size. It kinda reminds you a one of those WWE belts. When looking it over you realize this company was not playing around when they designed this back brace. It is well stitched and a quality product. While wearing it you can bend over to pick something off the floor but it is restrictive because it want to keep you in a upright position. I've decided to sell my house and it needs painting, so for a person who 3 1/2 months ago had a Decompression Laminectomy (spinal surgery) where the surgeon cut all my back muscles, took out a section of my spinal column out, scrapped my spine and ground out the hole in the hip for the spine. Well I'm doing WAY more than I should be, did my laundry room first and it about killed my back. So I ordered this brace. I still have pain while I'm working, but I was waking in the morning feeling like I was beat by a baseball bat, sense wearing the brace that has gone away, and also like I said I'm still feeling pain while working, but feel more stable on a ladder, and when I take a break and take the brace off my pain is dissipating more quickly. So I gave it a 4 on pain relief, but if you have a chronic condition, by now you should know no one thing is going to return you to normal. Gave it a 5 on support, and 4 on comfort, because you should know it's not going to be like your comfy like you comfy Pj"s. One last thing, I do like the way they designed the outer waist bands so that the both attach and work independently of each other. All n All if your looking at back braces I'm glad I made this purchase, and if your small framed I'd get the small/medium one, if your and old fat man like me the regular one works fine and can be tighten as loose or as tight as you want.

Back at work!
I purchased a back brace (XL) at a local drug store but it was too small. So when I read that larger sized people were happy with this I thought I should give it a try. It helped stabilize my back especially while driving so that I didn't further injure my back. It is really nice to have two sets of adjustable bands to get just the right amount of support. It seems that due to that design it will fit a wide range of larger sizes actually. It gets a little warm wearing it especially when worn under my clothes but that is such a minor point compared to the huge benefit of being able to get back to work and walk my pups, etc. Hooray for a wonderful back brace. I hope it helps others as much as it did me. Also I did get it very quickly and believe me I was counting the minutes hoping for some relief. The other thing that really helped me at home is a traction device called the Back Bubble. It's basically a half circle of inner tube that you hang from a doorway. You get inside of it and bend your knees or lean forward a bit to gently, slowly (and carefully!) stretch the spine since it is supporting the weight of your upper body. I used to have an inversion table but there is no way I would even attempt to get on one of those when my back was that painful. So if you can't find anything else to help you might want to research those. It's way more expensive than the inversion tables but then again when you are in that much pain what wouldn't you pay for some relief? Also I think the inversion table does a better job of stretching the spine than the Back Bubble does but of course only if you can actually use it.

Well made brace and comfortable
This brace is well made and does not leave marks and is comfortable. I mainly wear at night and can slip on and off without readjusting the Velcro as the material is stretchy. I only gave 4 stars as I can’t wear under clothes. It comes with a bag you can store it in. I use the futuro adjustable brace for under clothes. Futuro brace only goes up to 51 inches but works for me under my clothes and is comfortable as I am at the 51 inch mark. Used the futuro one for years but put in a bag so Velcro last longer. Hope this helps.

The Winner! Great for bad backs.
I have three of these now. One that I misplaced, the emergency spare & one in reserve. I've also worn one out.I have a very bad back. (Spine severely constrained at 2 vertebrae in the lumbar region due to Scoliosis). I can not walk very far or stand very long before the pain becomes inhibiting. I don't like taking medication as only the strong stuff works. One of the therapists I see for my back asked me to wear something like this to stablize my back - only when I'm out of the house & active. It has prolonged my ability to tolerate standing and walking such that I can attend social events and go grocery shopping.I tried others, but they rolled and were uncomfortable. I love the extra adjustment with the extra side pull tabs. There is still plenty of room for flexibility if you place the front collection of tabs in the right position on your body. I place it a little low so I can bend at the waist & sit comfortably. You don't even feel the little back support insert it includes because it is so helpful. The one problem I have is where all the front tabs meet or overlap is quite bulky and unflattering. I just wear loose shirts and deal with it.

Unable to wear due to size
Quality feels good but too short to wear.

Good Quality. But too small
I ordered the small/medium size because I saw the a video on the large size and I knew it would be too big. The small/medium size is too small. It barely fits me and I only weight 140 lbs (64 kilos). It fits my petite wife just fine. This company should really have 3 sizes because the big one is too big and the small is too small.
