Great Pick Guard Blank
I've never made a pick guard before and my ASAT classic alnico le is almost impossible to find online, so I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm glad I did! Really think it turned out great.I traced my old guard out onto 1/2" MDF and cut that out with a jig saw getting close to my line. Then I used double sided tape to tape my old guard to the MDF. I used a flush trim bit raised just high enough to roll on the old guard to finish out the cutting on the MDF. I sanded any bumps I had on the MDF to make nice, smooth, sweeping lines. Then I traced the old guard onto the blank and cut just outside the line with my jigsaw. I placed that onto the MDF and used the flush trim bit to do a final cut on the blank. Finally, I used a 30° bevel bit to put a chamfer on the new guard.Take it slow and it will look great! High quality and easy to cut.

Good Value
This was for a pickguard cut out for a strat shaped bass. Two pickup cutouts, some tight radii around the neck and 6 holes for pots and switches. Then the holes were drilled for the pickguard screws –about 1/4” from the edges. It was a chore, but the cuts were clean and the material stayed intact.I used the Dremel Rotary cutter at low speed and a coping saw blade when things were a straighter cut. If it’s your first time, try it on similar material or use a portion that isn’t on your finished line –for practice. Things can go terribly wrong when the dremel walks or chatters. This can be controlled with technique, but it requires practice. Also a drill bit can get a bit too aggressive on this material near the edge and cause breakout. Plastic bits or a glass spade bit are nice to have and cut without grabbing the material. A Unibit also works well. There was no chipping of the top layer and the finished product looks as good as anything coming out of a guitar factory these days. Compared to a Sterling or Ibanez pickguard, it’s on par. I got tortoise and pearl green. Both are very typical of the popular instrument wrap on higher end drums or plastic pickguard material. This plastic doesn’t present like a cheap knockoff. Top layer is pretty thin, but it isn’t just a decal. It’s a plastic layer of durable material with depth and a pearl look to it. It was a GOOD BUY... ok, Good bye

Great quality for custom pickguard
Product was packaged well, and arrived with protective film coating that removed easily in one piece. The blank is great quality, same feel and thickness as guards I've bought from premium guitar parts companies. Bought this to practice engraving on for a custom build, but I could easily see using this for any guitar build.

Very Close Mint Green Color.
This is high quality material. I've been searching for an accurate mint green color. It's very hard to find. This mint green is the closest I've found on Amazon. I've been impressed with Musiclily on most of their products. I'm attaching a picture of the mint green blank next to my 1964 Stratocaster so you can see how close it is. Maybe a rub with some brown shoe polish will get it even closer. All in all, I would recommend this pickguard and color.

Perfect for DIY Pickguards
I bought this to build a 1978 VH1 replica. The material was easy to work with. It didn't split or crack anywhere. It was easy to cut and file to shape.

Bass Bezel
A beautiful laminate plastic piece. I needed to make a bezel for a bass guitar bridge to cover some old hole locations and this is a perfect match in color.

Equal to factory original equipment.
I recently bought two new Guild Surfliner guitars. I really didn't care for the black pickguards, so I had my luthier create new ones using this material. It is superb quality and the pickguards came out just as I had hoped. He also had enough material to make the truss rod covers. One sheet did all of this!

Best purchase for my renovation
I needed a pick guard that was specific to a 1940s Harmony Arch Top guitar. I had about given up and then I found this item. I could probably make 3-4 guards from the amount of material provided. Easy to cut and drill. (If you take it slow) Although I am not close to attaching it yet you can see it fits perfectly.
