All that and a bag of chips !
Found this by watching videos and yes I'm glad I did. Only have had this 1 week so I know it's an early review but I'll update if needed. This Foredom is awesome. I've been using a rotary tool forever and a day. I also purchased their hand piece that excepts 1/4 shafts so I'm able to use all the accessories from my die grinder. Motor runs smooth and is very quiet. I went with their base and yoke as opposed to a hang up stand and I love it. Much more portable I believe. Of course it costs a bit more but I have no regrets. I'm getting great results whether I use 1/8 or 1/4 shafts. She's performed well on soft and hard wood without any issues and no bogging down. Some reviews stated they don't care for the plastic foot pedal but I've had no problems as it works well for me. All in all I couldn't be happier. Happy woodworking folks 😃

So far, so good.
I had a Dremel for about 5 years and it worked but it never worked well. It finally crapped out on my and I didn’t want to replace it with the same junk quality so I spent A LOT more money on this Foredom and am pretty happy that I did.Pros:Tons of power meaning it doesn’t easily bog down like the dremelSeems like it will last a lot longer than the dremel, appears to be very well made. The 3 jaw chuck is amazing. There are zero concentricity issues.Cons:This particular seller (Atlantic Tools) initially sent me a device with a broken part. The exchange was easy, but it’s worth noting. The speed control pedal doesn’t hold position which is maybe something I should’ve expected, but I think a huge improvement would be for the pedal to stay where you place it.

Love it
This is one of the best rotary tools you could buy. I’ve been using it to now for eight years and would not use another. If you need a rotary tool, this is the one you should get.

This product is ok.
It has the power I need and it is easy to interchange bits. BUT the pedal is awkward. I am looking for another pedal to replace the one it came with.

The absolute best
The motor runs quietly, smoothly, and makes my job as a jeweler a lot easier. Don't go cheap when it comes to buying a flex shaft. Foredom is the way to go!
