This Pelikan Twist Fountain Pen is trendy in a twisted design! The Twist pen lie comfortably in the hand due to its ergonomic shape. It's suitable for both right and left-handed writers. It contains a stainless steel medium nib and the ink cartridge is easily replaced for continuous writing.

Very nice product
Exactly as described. Can be awkward to hold, as the cap doesn’t rest well on the end of the pen whilst writing. This pen really is so beautiful though-I get so many compliments on it. It writes smoothly and consistently every time you pick it up. It even does well with shimmer inks. Absolutely love this pen and recommend for anyone wanting a quality product that won’t break your pocketbook.

Love the color!
This pen gets a bit uncomfortable after writing with it briefly because I have a cross-over and not a tripod grip. But the nib writes smoothly and I love the color!

Comfortable grip and pretty color
I had a blue Pelikan twist from about seven years ago and wanted to try a different color this time so I ordered a red one. Its ergonomic grip is so far the most comfortable among all my more expensive fountain pens (or perhaps I just like angular grips) and it is softer than Lamy safari’s (though not too soft).

Not a bad pen
Pretty solid fountain pen for the price. Fairly smooth nib.

A slight air of elegance in these barbaric times.
I love the feel of writing with a weighty fountain pen. It gives whatever I am putting ink to paper a sense of deliberateness and importance...Even when you're going out shopping and signing receipts for daily use. Unfortunately I've lost quite a few of my nice pens for everyday carry. Or they mysteriously disappear when I leave it unattended. Enter the pelican twist. An simple gateway fountain pen for everyday use that you don't feel so bad for accidentally losing. The interesting design elicits comments and prompts conversation expounding on the elegance of using a fountain pen. It is lighter than it looks though. Pro tip: inject some lead or epoxy a metal ball bearing in the empty cavity to give it a little heft.

Pretty color, smooth writing, odd grip
The media could not be loaded. Not bad for a discount fountain pen. This was a M nib; I usually use an EF or F. The box was squashed. Very disappointed that the pen has two scratches. The grip is nice but feels odd for my hand.

Pretty, but I didn't find it comfortable to write with
It writes smoothly, but although I am a lover of plastic fountain pens that have the defined grip, this one did not seem right. I'm not sure if it was the one I received, but it wasn't aligning correctly with the nib or something. I found it very uncomfortable to write with.Love the color. But, not the line that was down one side of it; not sure if it was the design or a scratch.Had to send it back. If I didn't have that option, I would not have even tried it (or many others).

Nice pen but came used
It's a pretty pen and fits well in my hand. Writes wet and fairly broad for a medium. It also leaked a bit because it was used and already had the cartridge in and halfway empty. Check returns before putting them back on the shelf.

Good price, good ink flow, not so comfortable.
As a wedding registrar, I need my pen to be good value, comfortable, reliable, have a good ink flow and write nicely. This is a left/right handed pen - as a lefty, the grip is important for me. I'm not blown away by the one on this pen as the triangular design continues into the barrel and isn't that comfortable. When removing the lid, it may sound silly, but it's not easily identifiable which is the lid (when you're not paying attention and maybe reading something else) - there are no clips on the lid like most other pens. The ink flows brilliantly and I've had no problems with the converter. The nib is medium with a flat tip. I've found this less useful when writing smaller - I always opt for medium but find this one just doesn't look as neat. The colour and design of the pen are unique and the price was a definite bonus. On the whole, not my favourite new pen. Does what I need it to but could be more comfortable. Reliability and price are two definitely plus points and this will continue to have a home in my pencil case.

Nice pen good value
This pen is really comfortable to write with. Easy to use. The nib is a bit on the thicker side compared to the Parker pen I have but it’s very smooth not at all scratchy. Ink flows smoothly. I like it. Very good value.
