Great kit. Saved my 2006 Mercruiser 4.3L V6 engine
My 2006 Tahoe with 4.3L V6 Mercruiser died while we were on the lake.Had no spark. Went through the troubleshooting chart and everything has pointed to the ignition module (Thunderbolt V, I beilive) The part is no longer available, I couldn't even find one on eBay. They sell for $600+ if you can even find it.After doing quite bit of research I ordered this kit.Took about an hour and boat started right up!I had a few questions and called tech support (the phone number is on the installation manual), they answered all my questions. Please keep in mind that you will need to do a minor timing adjustment, the timing tool is nessasery.

Not sure yet...
Installed the unit exactly as per directions. Watched every YouTube video possible.Doesn't work. No spark. Haven't had time to dig deeper, but all I can say is that the engine ran( although not well because the Thunderbolt module was wonky ) before I replaced the ignition system.UPDATE: As it turned out, the company shipped me three coils, each one of them failed the diagnostic tests with a volt / ohm meter. It took quite a lot of convincing to get that third coil as the company refused to believe three in a row could be bad. Please note that I am not unskilled in electronics or mechanical abilities.I finally took the boat down to my local marina. He happened to have a known good working coil and installed it. Turned the key and it started right up.I'm NOT knocking the company, but that coil is China made crap. I did write a nice and polite letter to the company to inform them of the problems that I had, but never got a response. All I care about is that the boat is finally working. It just cost me an extra hundred bucks for the marina labor and coil.

Great upgrade and customer service
Contacted these folks after I followed some bad advice on the internet. Worked perfect on my 4.3. Fixed my issue with bad Thunderbolt V control module it was not advancing properly and retarding timing at idle.
