Anchor Hocking Glass Penny Candy Jar with Chrome Cover, 1/2 Gallon

I bought this to make a candy jar as a holiday gift for a colleague -- I have my own that's proven to be quite popular at work, so I figured she'd like one of her own. The item shipped quickly, is quality made and arrived in great shape (I was worried since it's made of glass). Plus the size was perfect for what I was using it for -- envisioning how much candy could be stuffed into a large cardboard carton of milk helped me understand the capacity when shopping around.Please note the lid is metal, not plastic with silver paint, and it fits a little loosely on top of the jar opening which is great since all candies are individually wrapped, however, this might not work out so well with unwrapped cookies and snacks. All in all, I was able to fill the jar with 2+ lbs of candy and my co-worker was thrilled with her Holiday gift.I am very pleased with this product!!

I run a small business and these candy jars are one of my most used items in my designs. They are practical and functional, but also beautiful when lined up together.

As others have mentioned, the base is curved and will not sit without moving from side to side. Had to add “feet” to it to get it to sit properly. Otherwise it’s a nice jar.

Was looking for a candy jar for a shower that was clear for the "guess the number of candies" game and accessible for guests to scoop their own later. Many seemed too big for 3 lbs. of M&M's but this is a perfect size and I love that it's glass, not plastic. I'll have lots of uses for this later - coffee beans, cookies, dry pasta, etc. Love it!

Stores my dog treats well and with easy access. Beautiful for display
