It’s OK…
It’s OK…I purchased this aquarium to go on my kitchen counter…It is well-made, and when it arrived was packaged well. The low iron glass is awesome! But …It does not come with a lid of any sort, and when I contacted the company via the Internet to ask if they did indeed make a lid. I did not receive a reply. It does not come with a light, and again, when I contacted the company asking for their suggestions on a light I did not receive a reply. So be forewarned if you purchase this tank, you will Probably have no customer service whatsoever. I did purchase a light on Amazon that I am well pleased with, but I am still having difficulties in finding a lid.The inlet where are the water enters the side filter compartment,Has openings large enough to suck in tiny fish or shrimp… I solved this problem by covering it with a piece of plastic canvas…Also, as one reviewer said before me the pump makes a grinding noise… It’s not terribly loud but it is there. Also the pump is way too strong if you want to have something like a betta. There is no way to control the flow of the pump. By the time you put your Substrate, and whatever plants etc.… You only have about 5 gallons of water… I am enclosing the link for the light I purchased on Amazon…https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VZFRK3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The tank itself is very nice but some accessory and finish issues
The tank itself was well packed and arrived safely. It's a great size for a little nano aquarium and looks very nice. The glass is great and it is well put together. The issue I had is there is a small hole in the overflow compartment at the bottom and the included filter/plug for this hole did not fit at all. I ended up sanding down the plastic plug to get it to fit. I think this hole was cut too small for the included hardware and since the material is glass you can't easily fix the hole itself. I emailed the company to ask about this but never received a reply. I'm not really sure how useful this hole is in the first place, leaving it open to flow makes the overflow not do much. The other downfall for this tank is the included pump is very noisy. A power efficient 3 watt pump should be nearly silent but this makes grinding and crunching noises even when it is well isolated from the glass. You'll probably want to replace this pump, so there isn't much point in including it.My shrimp are happy in the tank and I should have a new return pump arriving soon. I'd probably buy another tank from this manufacturer but it would be a better package if they fixes these issues and maybe sold it without the return pump.

At first glance ok, buy quality controll issues render it a major disappointment
I saved for 6 months for this Lifeguard Aquatics peninsula tank. Straight out of the box, my filtration system has an odd triangle cut out of one of the internal baffles behind the filtration wall, rendering proper flow and correct filtration paths useless. It also arrived with a chip on the front left corner. Not enough to affect the integrity of the tank, but I bought this for the super pristine rimless aesthetics. The fact that it had a noticeable chip straight out of the box pisses me off pretty good. The black vinyl that covers the filtration area, while better than Marinelad's, is very cheap and low quality. You can easily catch an accidental finger or tool on the edge of the vinyl and quickly start to peel it up. I'm just going to cut mine off and paint it. Lastly, the matt that is included is worryingly thin. I tossed it and replaced it with something that would actually prevent floor failure.Lifeguard, feel free to contact me to make this right. I had planned on buying a few more larger tanks from this company, but after this initial impression of what is clearly sub-par quality inspection before the products get shipped, I'll spend the extra on a Fiji Cube...

The Aquarium Is Leaking Within A Year
I purchased this aquarium in December of 2023 for a kitchen countertop build. It is level using the supplied mat and within a the year the left hand corner seam is leaking. I contacted Lifegard who told me to contact Amazon as they handle the returns. After contacting Amazon(always great customer service) I was told they have a 60 day return window which has always been standard but I asked regardless. Then after recontacting Lifegard they refused to warranty the tank and emailed me a coupon code for 15% off a new tank. Why would I buy a new tank when you’re refusing to warranty the one I’ve already purchased. Absolutely the worst customer service I have come across in a very long time.

Cool little tank.
The tank is well made and working as it should. It is not a RedReef or Waterbox, but for the price it's great. The supplied pump is kind of weak and I'll probably change it soon. Currently looking for a topper to prevent my fish from jumping out, finding accessories that fit is proving difficult.

Filter doesn't have correct waterflow
Water intake is way too fast for the waterpump. The filter is pretty much useless. Pretty much paying for an overpriced tank
