Sony XL-2000U Replacement Lamp w/Housing 6,000 Hour Life & 1 Year Warranty

It's nice when the product arrives well packaged and installs easily. The fit was perfect and the tv powered up flawlessly. No complaints about the picture, however the tv is now used strictly for exercise videos and Wii workouts. The initial bulb lasted 7 years and its replacement, purchased from a different vendor, only lasted 6 months. We purchased a plasma tv for the home theater and this has become the workout tv.If this bulb lasts for a year, I'll up the review to 5 stars.

It worked at first, but within two months the picture is dimming and the TV is turning off intermittently. That's what you get when you spend $30 bucks for something you know should cost $100.

Unfortunately the lamp worked less than one week and then the standby light blinks three times telling me it is not connected right. They are not that hard to connect and I've tried reconnecting many times. Still the same result. I think something is wrong with the lamp or housing.Randy

My latest purchase was September 2015 and the bulb has already gone out. I'll buy one more and then it's new TV time.

It made the picture worse. The last time I bought one it was made in Japan. It made the picture like new again. This one was made in Mexico. I am very dissatisfied with it.
