As I sit down to write this review for the big bag of peppermints I recently purchased, I am filled with disappointment and frustration. I am not one to usually write negative reviews, but I feel it is necessary to warn others about my experience with these peppermints.Let me start by saying that I love peppermints. They are my go-to candy whenever I need a quick refreshment or a little pick-me-up because believe it or not it helps with anxiety. So when I saw this big bag of peppermints on here , I thought it was a great deal and I was excited to try them out.However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as soon as I tried to open the bag. I struggled for a good five minutes, trying to tear open the packaging, but to no avail. The bag was sealed so tightly that it seemed almost impossible to open without scissors. And then to make matters worse it’s like the wrapper on the candy was super glued and hard to openI have had my fair share of stubborn packaging, but this was on a whole new level. And let me tell you, I am not a weak person. I have opened my fair share of jars and bottles, but this bag of peppermints proved to be a tough opponent.Feeling determined, I grabbed a pair of scissors and finally managed to break through the seal. But my joy was short-lived when I saw that the individual peppermints were wrapped in the same tough plastic packaging. At this point, I was starting to get frustrated and a little hungry.I tried to open the individual wrappers with my fingers, but they were so tightly sealed that I could not even make a dent. I even tried using my teeth, but that was a disaster waiting to happen. After a few failed attempts, I resorted to using the scissors again. But this time, the peppermints flew out of the wrapper and scattered all over the floor. I was left with a mess and no peppermints to show for it.Now, you may be thinking, 'It's just a bag of peppermints, what's the big deal?' But for me, it was a big deal because I am currently recovering from a botched gallbladder surgery. I am under a lot of stress and my body is still healing, so the last thing I need is to struggle with something as simple as opening a bag of candy.I was looking forward to enjoying these peppermints, but instead, I ended up throwing them away in frustration. Not only did I waste my money on a product that I couldn't even open, but I also wasted my time and energy.So, if you are considering buying this big bag of peppermints, I urge you to reconsider. Unless you have superhuman strength or a pair of industrial scissors, you will struggle to open them. And let's be real, who wants to go through all that hassle just for a simple candy?In conclusion, I cannot recommend these peppermints to anyone. The packaging is a nightmare and it is not worth the frustration and disappointment. As for me, I will be sticking to my trusty old peppermint brand from now on. Save yourself the trouble and do not buy these peppermints. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Thks candy is the best peppermint candy I have had in a long time. The flavor is true and it tastes great alone and when added to a cup of tea

The peppermints were single wrapped but the plastic wrapper stuck to the candy like the candy got too warm. It was hard getting the plastic wrapper off.

The bag and amount is just as advertised. The problem with these, so bad I will never reorder, is that the wrapping on the candy sticks and they are very hard to unwrap. AND, I’m finding all the wrap doesn’t come off the candy, because a small piece always end up in my teeth. I will try a different brand next time.
