Good tasking Tuna
Good tasting little tin of tuna; does not smell fishy and goes great for a quick lunch on crackers.

REALLY PLEASED WITH THE FLAVOR OF THIS TUNA
Normally I don't buy tuna in olive oil because I find the olive oil to be too heavy for it and it detracts from the flavor of the tuna completely. But this was such a great deal and it was from a company with a good reputation, so I tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. The tuna was obviously wild caught because it didn't have that bleached white look that no tuna has ever had in this world naturally, came in a good chunk, removed from the can easily with limited waste if any, and was overall good enough that I could have eaten it straight from the can without draining the olive oil if I wanted to. Very good quality for the price point.

The Best
I can't buy this high quality tuna in olive oil in bf Egypt where I live. The product looks like actual fish when you open it, not cat food. I'm so happy to see Amazon has it.

Genova Premium Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil - The Best
This is Genova Premium Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil a 12 pack. This is the only tuna I eat and I just love it. I drain the oil and I love the taste, it is not too "fishy."I use it in a typical tuna salad, but also with the fixings of a chicken salad, and it tastes similar to chicken! The price for this 12 pack is great, and I love that I can get this online as it is not always available in my local markets.I think tuna in water is tasteless, and if you drain the oil from tuna in oil there is minimal extra calories. Just watch how much mayonnaise you add. This is marvelous tuna, you will be happy! This is a great deal, highly recommended.

Good quality packed in olive oil. Can is not packed full of tuna, even though it is solid.
This is a very light tasting tuna it’s solid white albacore pectin olive oil. It’s a good quality not too salty I thought maybe there could be a little more in the can but it’s pretty sufficient. I made tuna salad with it and I used it for tuna casserole’s but it has such a mild taste in the texture is different from the yellow fin which I preferIf you like a very light flavor, Tina, this might be the one for you.If you’re making tuna salad, make sure you press the can hard and drain it out. Otherwise, your tuna salad could be a little bit watery..

Great tuna in a can

Really good canned tuna.
The flavor and texture was excellent.I would also like to add that what most people don’t realize is that tuna packed in olive oil, once the liquid has been drained, is just about the same calorie count as tuna packed in water,.However, there are far more nutrients, plus the benefit of olive oil, in an oil-packed tuna than there is in a water-packed tuna.Yes, on the nutritional label the calorie count will be higher because it includes the calorie count of the oil. In this case it is olive oil, a monosaturated oil and beneficial. No matter what, once the liquid is drained from canned tuna, the calorie count is approximately the same. But here’s the reason why one should choose oil packed tuna, and even more beneficially olive oil packed tuna:Oil packed tuna, retains the nutrient in the flesh of the fish. Oil “seals” the beneficial nutrients into the flesh of the canned tuna.Residual olive oil may remain, but even that happens to be beneficial. What no one will tell you is that all tuna packed in water, leaches nutrients out of the flesh of the tuna fish, and unless one is drinking that packing water, one loses a great deal of the nutritional value stated on the label of the can.I found this tuna to be very flavorful and a good value. If you’re not ready to go for the dozen can box, they sell it in single tins too on Amazon Fresh

Cheap food, but EXCELLENT!
Subscribe to this in packs of 12 and it's less than $2 per can.My current favorite is: mix a can of tuna with some shredded onion and celery, dump in some assorted olive mixture and other spices, air fry it for a long time (maybe 20 min at 375F). Cool it down and mix with one of the "salad mix" things from Amazon Fresh. So incredibly simple and ridiculously cheap! It's good enough that I would have happily paid $15-$20 on DoorDash or GrubHub. And this makes enough for two meals!
