I just received this in the mail and it is really classy looking. I have replaced it with another pen that I won't mention the brand, but it is real close and they use Scriveiner refills too. This brand surprised me, because I bought two of their Fountain Pens that I am really enjoying, those write like glass if you are into fountain pens. I just wish these were a tad girthier. The pen is weighty. And does not feel or look cheap. I always saw them on websites, but was not sure. I am now.The people that are having trouble with the writing or skipping, it's not the pen, sometimes you just get a bad refill. You have to take into account that the pen possibly has been sitting in a cold warehouse and the ink could be a little gunked up. Rub it between your hands or let it sit for a bit in a warm environment. Or maybe soak the body of the refill in some warm water. It is ink and it does freeze if you're in a cold area. And you can buy different sizes and colors of the refills. They come in fine, medium and broad.I have found a nicely priced pen that will not break the bank. Hopefully Scriveiner will come out with different designs.

Great pen at an amazing price. This is the second pen I have bought from this company. The first was a fountain pen and now the blue roller ball. First the engraving looks fantastic. Both pens have a durable appealing finish. The weight of these pens are balanced when capped. They both write great. Finally, the shipping even with personalization was super fast. Thanks again.

Day 1 review:The pen is beautiful hope it stays that wayThe pen is perfect on the writing from the things lines to fairly bold, it's not a thick feel but for just writing the lines are sensitive and beautiful.The clip fastens nicely to my thicker lined pocket pants and I feel confident it's not going to fall out randomly.That all bring said it doesn't feel super great in the hand like you can tell there's an element of cheaper plastic underneath that beautiful paint job and as such I feel like over time it's not going to be a great writer, however my needs are only that of signing docs and quick form fills. So I will update if anything changes thereAlso I'm unsure for I feel about the cap to pen it clicks and hold securely but there's an element that makes it feel loose when spinning it on the pen.

I purchased this pen around 16 months ago and loved the aesthetics, feel, weight etc. It would glide on paper and was an absolute joy to write with. For various reasons I did not have the opportunity to use it a whole lot and it was sitting on my desk for several months. Finally when I did start using it again, the writing was scratchy and the refill had begun skipping. I felt I had not used it enough for the ink to have run out. I therefore decided to test the spare refill that came with the pen and found that even the spare was skipping. I was very disappointed and reached out to Scriveiner support for help. Dan from customer support responded to my email almost instantly. He recommended some steps so I could try to unblock the refill. He also shared that refills typically last for 12 months if stored with the cap on. I was unable to unblock the refills after trying the steps Dan recommended and realized that they were probably dried up because they had already crossed the 12 month mark. While I was disappointed, I accepted my mistake and thought no more of the matter. Imagine my surprise then, when I saw another email from Dan asking me for a shipping address so he could send me spare refills! When I did not respond for a couple for days, he sent a polite follow-up email. I had barely emailed my address when I found he had already shipped the spare refills and they arrived at my doorstep (from across the Atlantic!) within a couple of days! I am gobsmacked at the incredible customer service of this small family-run business. They truly go above and beyond to take care of their customers! I am certainly a fan and a customer for life :) Bravo--well done!

I have a couple of fountain pens made by Scriveiner and this rollerball.The color of this "Racing Green Rollerball" is really a beautiful green. I would call it an emerald green and the color really depends on the angle of the light.The rollerball itself is very smooth, and I love writing with it. It's great for writing notes and letters. Being left-handed, you know being in my right mind, a lot of pens have ink that will smudge. I have not seen this ink do that, but I'm really careful, so it may just be me.This pen is very comfortable to write with. It has a good weight to it. For a quality pen, this one is worth it. I think you should get two of them, I am probably going to get at least that many more. Sometimes if somebody admires a pen that I have, I will just give it to them. It's a great surprise.

I have never owned a pen that made me feel like a high level corporate executive the way this pen does. The packaging this pen comes in is very luxurious. I was absolutely amazed how smoothly this pen writes and how quickly the ink dries and does not smear. The Scriveiner Customer Support is absolutely amazing. I had a very small problem with my order (at no fault of them) and they responded to my email very quickly and followed up to ensure my problem was resolved and I was satisfied with their product. Their customer service and the quality of their product has won me over as a customer. I also love that they offer engraving on the pen to personalize the experience. These pens are going to make great appreciation gifts for each member of my team.
