The background is dark and the hands do not stand out making the time impossible to read unless you are right in front of it. Had to return.

When hung on the wall the whole thing is off center.edit: i found that it was pretty easy to realign it, original review was 1 star. it should really be constructed such that this doesnt happen

I got this for my father but it's all gold and filigree and it's hard to see where the hand are.

Where to begin. Its challenging to even read the clock hands as there is very little contrast. The gear box is off kilter due to a factory defect resulting in the noon clock hands being off by 10 degrees. To rephrase, clock hands can't point straight because the gear box in the back is incorrectly placed. I like how the whole things looks though, so I kept it as a wall decoration. 5 stars for looks 1 star as a time piece.

They are selling a wall clock that hangs crooked and you cannot tell the time. The product is totally unusable.

The first clock had a crack across the top so I reordered and sent it back. The second one arrived ok and it was given as a gift. It did not work. Poor product which is sad as it is a very attractive clock. It was given to our new priest, so very disappointing.

The clock is beautiful, a nice addition to wall decor; it's light, easy to hang, uses a AA battery. The problem is that since it has black hands against the black and gold background, it's very difficult to read the time unless you're standing just a few inches away. Otherwise, it's very attractive; it would be easier to read it with ??gold hands!
