Have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this game set looks. Really well constructed. All corners line up nicely. I love the big steel hinges. The game set looks like it will last a lifetime. The 15 in. size is perfect for my needs. There is plenty of room on the board for game play. It fits perfectly on the coffee table or the couch.The playing surface is very good looking and practical. The outline around the points make them stand out during game play. The checkers are the right size for the game set. With six checkers laid out across the home board, there is about 1/16 to 1/8 in. gap between checkers. Enough room to move your checker without knocking others off their spot. The checkers are wooden and I find the wood grain gives just enough texture to make them easy to grip and pick up. The dice are decent. They are the right size for this game set. The only thing "off" about this set are the dice cups. They are small but still usable. Not gonna knock a star off about the dice cups.For a low/mid price point game set, I doubt you will find better. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice game set without breaking the bank.

This is an amazing well crafted game board. It is the details that make this outshine anything else on Amazon. The hard wood and patterns are joy to look at. It's a bit pricey but worth it. You get what you pay for

Over all I love it. Looks great and feels great.I gave it 4 stars to get your attention on the fact that mine doesn’t quite close flush but it’s not that noticeable. Still a secure close.With that said I’m glad I got it.

This is a very, very beautiful wood board with the inlays and everything else is first class!

I purchased this at Christmas for my son in law and he’s a big fan of it.It is a large board, great quality wood, looks expensive and I would definitely recommend.He got the two tone brown.It’s currently displayed on his new cabinet in his living room.

The wood design is very elegant nice and smooth. The chips are wood too. The dice have a nice matching colors to the whole board as well as the velvet brown. The board is a good heavy weight and it has a magnetic closure. You're not going to find a nicer looking backgammon board with these smooth finishings at the price. The brown design is fabulous.
