These are durable and blend in with any hair color and outfit. I bought these because I am trying to grow my hair out and I remember my friend using them in the 80's when she had short hair. Works great to keep every hair out of the way and give a chic and polished look. Highly recommend! I have no problems with them breaking as was mentioned in other reviews but some of the paint flecked off from the tortoiseshell one. Not a problem for me.

If you're looking for this type of flexible comb, this is the best brand. I've tried other brands and this is the sturdiest, most attractive, and most comfortable. They all stretch out eventually but you'll get more mileage out of this one.

I have used these hair bands since the 1980s & they work well to hold hair out of the face. I used the same ones for decades before they wore out. This bunch I bought stretched out of shape after the 1st use & would not stay locked. Perhaps the plastic is just old & had lost its resilience. They were well packaged in arrived on time. I sewed it together to make it stay locked & it is working well.

They stretch out easily but I used these growing up and I do like them especially for people with short hair to keep the hair off of your neck but once your hair starts to grow it doesn’t help much if your hair is even moderately thick.

I grew up wearing these and I was excited to try using them again to hold my hair back. However, this product is terrible. Very thin material, cheap, stretched out immediately, and did not hold. Went straight to the trash."They don't make them like they used to."

I paid $4.99, seller was Avalanche Brands. It is exactly as described - a black, a tortoiseshell, and a clear. It arrived in the original Scunci packaging, and then also in a dust-bag. Quality appears good. I will update on durability in the future.It seems to fit my smaller-sized head well. I am just beginning the Curly Girl method, and I think this will be helpful in keeping my hair off my face without breaking up my curls. I will update on that too once I've been using them for longer.

They do not stay in place. They are good for a one time use

This bundle is great. I like that you get the 3 basic colors. I love using it with my bob haircut because it makes a perfect curl around. Its not the type of accessory I feel you can readjust on the go, because you'll end up with lumpy hair, but if you set it before you go out, you don't need to worry about it anymore, and its prettier than "just another pony tail". I also like it with my shorter hair because a little 2 inch nub pony tail is NOT cute, but this will get my hair out of my face while lookin' sassy too. <3
