Good Value, Budget Woodcraft
First I will say that the knife is not perfectly finished as there were some light scratches in the blade and the guard , it was not very sharp out of the box and that is why I only gave it 4 stars. It is not as finished as a made in USA woodcraft model. Now the good, with some help from my work sharp sharpener I was able to get it ready to field dress a deer in 10 minutes. The handle is nice and the I love the size of the blade and handle for a hunting knife. I am a slightly larger than average man and have large hands and the handle size is good for me. I did take a file to the spine of the blade to add some jimpping for my thumb as a classic Marbles woodcraft would have. It is a classic design that resembles a Marbles woodcraft model at a fraction of the price. The sheath is very nice and it sits on my belt nicely with less bulk than my other fixed blade knives. With a little bit of work you can have a budget woodcraft knife and for the money it is a good value.
