Many times purchased and more to come
The l-theanine is great, it has great quality and texture. The measuring scoop is long and exactly the right size so you don't get your hands too messy. The l-theanine is effective and definitely reduces jitteriness and anxiety, great for sleep as well.

Most Cost-Effective Version So Far
In general, I really like l-theanine as a sleep/focus aid as well as a potential anxiety reducer. Its effects are subtle, but if you already practice mindfulness, it can be a great help to that end. As far as things I have noticed, my sleep is much deeper than it ever used to be. I still get woken up on occasion at night, but the length of time it takes to ease back into sleep from them is much shorter. As far as focus goes, I find it easier to become absorbed in tasks at work in areas I used to struggle to sit down for. As for the anxiety part, I occasionally have too much coffee and feel a nasty rush of anxiety. I used to have to wait out the feeling, but l-theanine seems to cut the time for me to come down from that anxious state enormously. I would even wager to say it gets the job done in 15 or so minutes. As for this particular brand of l-theanine, it's the most cost-efficient version I have found on Amazon so far. I prefer powder versions of l-theanine for its cost-efficiency on a general basis and I dissolve the powder in hot drinks like coffee and tea. I have noticed trying to mix it into room temperature or cooler drinks is not as easy. That being said, I highly recommend l-theanine to people with sleep/anxiety issues if they pair it with practicing mindfulness. After years of poor luck with melatonin, zzquil, etc I am really glad I have found something that works for me and serves other functions without side effects.

Great quality
This seems like a very good quality supplement. It has absolutely no smell and very little taste. You can of course taste it a little, as it is a glutamate-derived amino acid. It has a slightly umami taste like MSG, but much less strong and with more earthiness. It dissolves very quickly in water. I typically put it in green tea or dissolve it in a glass of water (in 8 oz, you can't taste it at all). I take 200-400 mg a couple times a day. I lost the scoop pretty much immediately, but I would recommend volumetric dosing anyway: just dissolve a known amount into a known about of water, and take a shot or add it to your drinks. As for whether it works: I dunno. I haven't figured out whether L-theanine is a placebo for me or not, because the effects are subtle, but it does seem to calm me down, or at least make me think I can calm myself down. It works exactly as well as suntheanine capsules have worked for me in the past.I appreciate that this company lab tests (their HPLC results looked good), everything put together it seems very pure and legit.

L theanine is great.
Theanine helps me considerably with anxiety control helps me sleep better etc. my only grieves is the scoop in this I assumed it was 200mg but my scale says 500mg 😬 above 600 is emotionally numbing. But with the proper dose this is quite effective and mixes well with anything it’s placed in to. Cost effective and hits.

Amazing price, definitely L-theanine, but 100% has a fishy smell
It's definitely l-theanine, The price is absolutely amazing can't beat it, but as others have said it definitely has a fishy smell. I like to believe it's due to this processing or the lab it was made in or something but man it is hard to imagine anything other than an external source (outside of l-theanine production) to give it that kind of a smell.
