I was excited when the Ashton Drake box arrived, but completely disappointed when I opened it and saw this doll. The head is extremely small for the body, like manufacturer mistake small, and the doll itself is pretty small, not sure if the doll will even fit preemie clothing. For the amount of money you spend, I at least expected it to look and feel more realistic. Its not weighted, the hair is pretty messy, the breathing mechanism is nice ( hence the 2 stars), but the picture is extremely misleading! I made this purchase based on the websites picture of this doll! I had read reviews before about the dolls head seeming too small for the body, but didnt pay to much attention to it- PAY ATTENTION. Maybe there are other Ashton Drake dolls that are of better qaulity, but I wont make the same mistake twice and order a doll this expensive ever again without being able to see it first. Really unhappy that I wasted my money.

We just got Ashley a couple of days ago. She is a beautiful doll. She looks so realistic that people stopped us at the store to look at the "baby." Her hair is very soft just like a real baby. When you hold her, it feels like you're holding real baby, especially when she's "breathing." I plan to get more Ashton Drake dolls to add to this collection. My daughter absolutely loves this doll and we think she is amazing!

She is small. Her hair is well done, just has a lot of it. I got it for myself. Children grow up so fast. I missed holding a small one again. Her legs are stiff at first but do not bend. Her arms are posable with a wire across her back shoulders. She is somewhat weighted. Feels good in my arms..

After searching many hours looking for the right "lifelike baby doll" I was convinced by the pictures of "Andrea Arcello's Ashley Breathing Lifelike Baby Doll" that it was the one because it appeared to look so realistic. Once I received the baby in the mail I was instantly VERY DISAPPOINTED. I believe that the picture looks nothing like the actual baby doll. The head is much smaller than the body and the hair does not appear to be individually threaded as I thought it would be. The top of the baby doll's hair looks as if it was combed forward and glued right over the hair. Also the breathing mechanism would not work on the baby doll that I received.I can add however that I cannot complain about the Seller. I received the package within 4 business days, much sooner than what I thought it would be and the package arrived in perfect condition. I am hoping the return process will be an easy one. I received the package today and will be returning it tomorrow.

I got her and she is absolutely gorgeous. She looks quite realistc and and weighs it too. Her breathing mechanism is awesome. You put the batteries in a box that is hidden inside her chest and press a button on her neck. It's adorable. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. The only bad thing I have to say is that the breathing mechanism can be heard if you are in a quiet place. It has a whirring mechanical sound. Other than that it is a great product. I love her!
