The media could not be loaded. We loved everything about this collar and bought it for a musical festival (EDC) as a way to light up our look. Before purchasing, I reached out to Glowseen's Customer Service to see if it would be safe for people too, and if it would hold up with sweating or the possibility of rain without getting damaged. I received an incredibly fast response from a warm and happy person named Julia who quickly informed me that it would be safe for anyone, animal or human, to wear. She even suggested that I could cut it to fit me first and then cut it again to my dog after I was done with it if I didn't want to wear it again, so I loved that I could use it for both purposes.I ended up choosing the version without the design so that it wouldn't look like a dog collar when worn by a person. Honestly, I loved this collar as soon as I opened it. It's sturdy, super bright, has a fantastic range of colors/styles/effects compared to other brands and it was very easy to use. Just to be sure I was buying the right collar for my tastes, I ordered from this brand and also from a competitor. And let me just tell you - there was a clear difference and the Glowseen was by far the superior product. The other brand's version was an INSTANT disappointment - the lights were so dim and they weren't level throughout the collar. Their package was also inferior and the plug inlet was on the outside making it visible while wearing it. Sure, it was thinner, but that's because they used a thin copper string of lights which also meant that the brightness was low and the lights moved within the collar sleeve (so they weren't in a straight line). Yuck!But when I opened this Glowseen package, it was an INSTANT YES. This product was notably thicker than the other brand, but I quickly saw why. When I cut it to fit me, I saw the lights inside the collar, which was like a high-end thick set of LED lights that I would expect to see behind a mounted TV or under cabinet wiring. It was super-light, but super bright and still very flexible.The collar material itself is a little firm when you first open it, but it did mold more to the shape of my head after the first wear - honestly there was no issue with this at all, it just looks a little less round when you first open it because of how it is packaged. That was part of the reason I chose to wear it on my head instead of around my neck.It comes in a nice package with information and instructions on how to cut it. The collar itself has a scissor icon on the side where you can cut it to size without damaging it (I turned it on so I could make sure I didn't cut one of the lights as you want to cut it between the lights instead). It comes in a very large size so that it will work for pet and human applications, so to size it, you'll just unlatched the connectors, wrap it around your neck or head and use your fingers to mark where you will cut it. Turn it on to make sure you don't cut a light in half and then replace the connected end to the shorted collar. And that's it!I ended up choosing my head because it was SERIOUSLY so comfortable there. I didn't get a headache or feel any pressure from wearing this for 8+hours a day, which I'm prone to getting when something doesn't fit right... but that was never a problem with this collar. I wore it like a crown and used the multi-light function for most of the event.I tested out both the fully-lit rainbow and the lower-light rainbow that rotates around the collar. The fully-lit run time lasted me about 4.5 hours and the lower-light run time was about 5.5 hours, both of continuous use. Charge time was about 60-90 minutes (I wasn't paying close attention to the charge time but I came back after 90 minutes and it was ready to go again). I love that the charging inlet is hidden inside the connector so that it keeps the outlook looking cleaner, and it had a sturdy connection each time I charged it so I could trust that it was charging (it also has a faint red light to indicate when the collar is still charging so you don't have to guess).Overall, it was a hit. We got constant compliments and plan to use them for more events in the very near future. We even ordered another one for the dog because we like ours too much to share! Highly recommend this and I hope you get it and have a blast showing it off!

I have had all of the generations of collars Glow Seen has produced....This one by far is the brightest and the "chasing" light gets the most attention from all my neighbors and cars driving by out of all of them. Its hands down the brightest one they make and now that they took the sizes out of their product, so its cut to fit vs. ordering sizes, you can custom tailor the collar to your dogs exact neck size and leave a little room so its not too tight even if they have any sort of swelling or on hot summer days and nights have some extra water weight, you can account for that when you measure it and cut it to fit.My Pekingese is 9 1/2 pounds, and has a tremendous amount of super thick hair like the highest quality fur coat anyone could buy. She hates it when I take it off of her she wants it back on all the time. I recharge the collar every Sunday night which takes about roughly an hour to hour and a half. On a daily basis, we walk 2 to 3 times after the sun goes down for anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes and I still only need to charge it once a week. The colors on this collar are very bright and vibrant and will reflect off of the canopy of trees above her and shine off the street signs half a block away. While headlights on any lit object will dull the effect, if she happened to be out in the street or right on the curb, any driver will easily see her collar lit up and will stop for her. So safety reasons, this collar cannot be beat. My Puppy has had this collar for about 6 months or so and there has been no problems with it at all and she has had this collar submerged in the swimming pool as well and it still works without any issues. I recommend this collar for both attention (which it gets a LOT of, as well as the safety aspect to keep your dog save from cars or if they ever get away from you, you can see this collar on a ugly raining downpour night time over 1/3 of a mile away, and on clear nights, easy to see about 3/4 to 1 mile away with the correct line of sight)Benefits of this collar..............1. I have purchased MANY light-up dog collars over the years. This collar is one of the brightest and coolest. Now having said that it is NOT to be used as a restraint. Meaning - don't attach anything to this collar - it is only made for visibility. And that it does very well. I can spot my dog from quite a distance using this collar. I keep mine set to rotating colors as it draws the most attention and I love the rainbow colors, but you can set it to static color mode as well. It does NOT have the full color spectrum, but the colors it does product are vivid and bright. Make sure when you are sizing the collar, you pay attention to the instructions, cut it between the LED lights, remove the retention screw, insert the collar back into the housing and tighten the retention screw once again making sure you puncture the vinyl casing of the collar. Again - this is not the most rugged of collars, so I cannot recommend leaving it on your dog during rough housing or using it for anything but night time visibility. The battery is rechargeable and uses a standard mini-USB type connector. These cables are available everywhere and you can charge it by any USB adapter or even a port on your computer. My K9 now looks like a sign in Vegas and lights up the night with style!UPDATE: Just a couple weeks after purchase the collar stopped working out of the blue. I was watching my pup walk back to the house and it went dark. I thought perhaps the battery needed charged but after fully charging it - the device still would not operate. This was my favorite collar so I'm disappointed in the longevity of the device. Amazon is exchanging the defective unit but I'm a bit skeptical of its durability now. May need to find one similar but made better. I'd gladly pay $50 for a well-designed, well-constructed collar.
