Keychain Clips Mini Carabiner - 1 5/8 inch Small Aluminum Durable Quick Release D-Shape Spring Loaded Wire Gate Clip

I bought these to put on my backpack while hiking to hold my hat and dog leashes while hiking. I also use them to tie things down in the back of the Jeep with paracord; they are perfect for that.I am impressed with how strong these carabiners are. I use them when tying truckers hitches and I often put a lot of tension on the line. These carabiners have not bent or broken yet. Plus, they are small and light enough to carry extras in case one ever does break.

These are great little carabiners. Function well and work great for their weight limit.

These little snap clips are about 1 1/2 inches tall, making them smaller than expected but still somewhat useful. I use them to secure fishing poles on my boat, and for that purpose, they work well. Tied to a short length of cord, they clip onto the thinner portions of the fishing pole or through a line guide and help to keep the poles secure during transits. The springs on some clips are a little stiffer than others, which makes them a little more difficult to open one-handed, but doesn't affect their function at all. Although supposedly rated for 45 pounds pull strength, I wouldn't depend upon them to hold that much weight for something breakable, but for most other uses they work just fine.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I've bought these before and re-ordered because they are so PERFECT for ultralight backpacking. They're strong, robust, much better than the cheap solid-metal gate micro carabiners that have an internal spring which wears out quickly. By utilizing the out-of-patent "hotwire" design from the original Black Diamond Wire gate carabiner, worn-out springs are a thing of the past.I just wish they'd bring back the gray and other colors they used to offer. These things are great!

12 biners for a fair price. Help up when I needed them. Not for heavy duty.

I was needing some small carabiniers so that I could easily detach the guy lines from camping equipment and store it without getting tangled. These seemed to be what I was looking for. Item arrived on time. The envelope was massive compared to the size of the item. Just seemed like they could have saved a bit on the plastic waste. Carabiners are small, but not too small for what I wanted. They don't weigh much. They also seemed pretty durable (at least more so than some of the ones I looked at), but time will tell and I'll update my review approximately. Some of the other reviews mentioned several of the clips not working. I gave all the clips a half dozen or so squeezes and all worked perfectly.
