Excellent storage dishes
I bought two of these storage dishes in 2004 when we lived in Japan and they still perform as well now, almost 20 years later, as they did back then. I bought a complete set when it came time to replace all our plastic storage containers and I’ll never go back to storing leftovers in plastic boxes again. These are great “lifetime” dishes.

Easy to use
I really like these containers. The lids are easy to put on and take off. It keeps the food fresh and can be use in the microwave from the refrigerator.

Effective & Elegant!
I've purchased my second set because I liked the first set so much. These Iwaki food storage containers are space-saving, lightweight, and lovely to look at. I know that all of the Japanese instructions show that you can't put them in the dishwasher ( I don't read Japanese so I didn't know at first but later looked up the symbols) but I put mine in, putting the lids only on the top shelf and they have come through many dishwasher cycles well for me. They are not leakproof but I keep them level in the refrigerator and they are very nice GLASS food containers. I would definitely recommend these. I wish they would make these in some larger sizes but they do hold lots of different kinds of leftovers and prepped meals well.
