Lovely
I love these vanillas BUT it really isn't 'All the vanillas of the world'. I have had an incredible vanilla from Provence before that is incredibly hard to buy so I went looking for a substitute and there were enough recommendations from vanilla bloggers to try this set. Here's the skinny IMHO: they smell different going on but smell very similar to each other on the skin; they are subtle enough and stay close to the skin so they are not cloying; they smell a little like powder at first, but settle nicely; the scent transfers nicely to fabrics, my scarf and seatbelt smell delicious; the smell is sweet but not too sweet. Overall I am happy. It is a lot of quality vanilla for $40 and not too overpowering or sweet for my tastes. Worth the purchase and will keep me happy until I can locate my Savon de Bormes vanilla from France again.

Disappointed. Mexique, although pictured, is not included. Bourbon substituted.
I used to wear the Mexique vanilla for years, and then stopped seeking something new. I specifically bought this travel set because it included Mexique, which I wanted to try again. I double checked the product photos to make sure Mexique was included in this travel sampler. When I opened the box today, I was very disappointed that Mexique was not there! The other fragrances are as listed, but Bourbon was substituted for the Mexique. I don’t like any of these fragrances as well as Mexique.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo....... Bitchin!!! All the scents are awesome. Got this as part of bridesmaids gifts and they all loved the scents. People actually stop and ask you what you are wearing and tell you "wow that smells good" You will get compliments when you wear any of these perfumes. You can wear in day or evening, not too heavy and you only need 1 spray on each of your wrist and 1 spray by each ear and you are good to go. It will last a long time, b/c you do not need to spray too much. Sometimes I only use on my neck area and the scent last a long time. I am purchasing again for stocking stuffers:)

Soapy, cigar, sort of vanilla
Every one of these vanilla fragrances has an unpleasant old cigar and cheap soap smell to them. Every one is tainted with this and it makes each of them smell worse than any drugstore brand. I am so disappointed. I wanted perhaps one to have a rich or pure vanilla fragrance, but not one. The bottles unscrew and are refillable for whatever that is worth. One had leaked all over the box, the Vanille divine des Tropiques. Pure soapy, mild cigar-y ugliness.I'm utterly amazed at all the good reviews. I can't imagine how they confuse any of these scents with a decent vanilla fragrance.I knew it would be a long shot, but I really did think I'd get one, maybe two out of the batch that would be pleasant. I did not find that to be the case.

Great little set to sample and good for travel/purse, too.
I have loved one of these scents for decades and wanted to try out the others. None are bad. The only reason I rated it a 4 rather than a 5 is because I wish there had been a hidden gem that rivaled my first love of the 5. Nope, I already had the best one! But again, all nice and great size to pop in your purse. Not like a sample, much bigger! Worth a try if you like vanilla but don't want to smell boring. :)

Perfect for travel!
I was happy to find that La Maison de la Vanille had these travel size perfumes available. They all smell so wonderful and I can easily bring more than one in my carry on. C'est super!

If you like the smell of baby powder... these are for you...
I've been wearing vanilla since middle school. It began with that watered down stripper musk from Victoria's Secret, until a family friend introduced me to Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Vanille Abricot. It was the most incredible scent ever. A mix between baked goods, cotton candy, chocolate, and somehow, wasn't sickeningly sweet. It was outrageously expensive for a 13 year old, but I managed to convince my parents I NEEDED it (until they no longer supported my perfume addiction and I resorted to babysitting funds). This was my scent for years, until Sephora discontinued it. I found it on Amazon, but the seller clearly screwed around with the formula to make an extra buck. It was terrible. I think I even threw out the last bottle. For two years, I've been using Outremer's Vanille that I've only managed to find at Anthropologie. It smells amazing, but not quite as special as my OG scent.I ran out of the Outremer, and decided to search Amazon for a new vanilla scent to try. I stumbled upon this set. I was super excited to try it, so I even paid extra for faster shipping. The packaging is adorable, and the bottles are perfect. The problem? THEY ALL SMELL LIKE BABY POWDER. Literally. I've tried all of them, at different times, and every single one smells like a variation of a fresh diaper. I know some people like that smell (and they're weird. Yeah, you, you're weird) but it makes me sick. Super bummed. I really wanted to love at least ONE of these!Anywho, I looked up the Vanille Abricot, just to see if it was making a comeback, AND IT IS. It's back at Sephora after about a five year hiatus. I believe it's also at Nordstrom. (at least, on both of their sites). I'm not sure if the formula has changed, but I'll be getting a bottle of that ASAP.So, moral of the story, if you're a TRUE vanilla junky, THIS IS NOT THE SET FOR YOU.
