Adorable and mosquito-free
This is the cutest mosquito repellent thing I've ever owned. My SIL is threatening to steal it (she'll get one for Christmas, it's fine lol). I've gone through so many citronella candles/strips/aroma diffusers/etc, but those green mosquito coils in this thing let me sit on the porch all autumn without mosquitoes or gnats, and I'm pretty sure it scared off the flies, too. His piggy snoot sort of funnels the smoke sideways so it's not flowing directly into your face, and he has a wire hook in there to hold the coils up off the bottom so it doesn't just go out. He also contains the ash nicely. Once the coil is completely burned, you just tip his butt end over a trash can and it's all clean. It's also larger than I expected. I'm not sure why I thought it would be smaller, maybe because the price seemed so low? But it's a good sized ceramic piggy. He's been brought inside for the winter, and currently lives next to the DVDs, which work well for scale.

Perfect size for my backyard!
Classic & cute design. Looks like a regular-sized incense coil will work if hung correctly.

Very pleased
This little thing is adorable and fairly well made. My only complaint is that the smaller mosquito coils used by this burner are a little harder to find locally than the full sized coils, and that is entirely a result of my own choices. Other than that it's very portable and a good size for a slightly cluttered porch.

Worked like a champ till I Noem’d him
Maybe it’s the increased airflow afforded by these mini-Venturi piggies, but they create a larger volume of smoke than the flat canister type, which is a big plus. It’s a small bother, having to trim a couple inches from a standard sized coil (to get them to fit through piggie’s bum) but quickly forgotten in the ensuing fog.But never forget! This is a thin-skinned porcelain pet, and no, Victoria, pigs don’t fly. But they do shatter after the smallest of leaps. Currently saving for one of the obscenely over-priced aluminum versions. Take a hint from Big Beer, and learn to read the room.

Little Pig, Big Mosquito Fighter
I ordered this little friend for the nostalgia and I've loved having him keep the bugs away so I can enjoy the warmer days. I was a tad skeptical about ordering at first because I was worried about breakage in transit but my little guy arrived in perfect condition. Mosquito coils are NOT included with this listing and I would definitely recommend looking for them in-store as the listings on Amazon are quite pricey compared to what I was able to find at my local Wal-Mart. The coils are bit too big to use in this pig right out of the box but I just broke a piece off and then it's good to go. I love watching the smoke drift out of his little face and I personally prefer the scent of the coils to a citronella candle. It makes my screened in porch a little more zen and a whole lot cuter!

It's really cute and holds the coil fine. Well made
I first saw this on a Japanese Cultural show. It was shown as an item in traditional Japanese homes. It's really cute and holds the coil fine. Of interest it's in the shape of the pig as the boar was thought to protect against fire (since there is a burning coil inside).I got it for a friends Japanese garden..perfect gift.

Works great, some minor adjustments need to be made, but is superior to the orange holders.
I burn coils throughout the summer. I was looking for something to replace the coil holders that OFF makes, and found this one. It works far better than the orange ones. The only tricky part is bending the wire that the coils hang from. You'll need a pair of needle-nose pliers to bend and shape it. I had to adjust it once or twice to get the coil to hang in the middle of the holder. So a little patience and trial and effort is required, but once you have it adjusted properly, it's pretty easy to use, and it works better than the orange ones. Highly recommended!
