Security tag.
Recently traveled and wanted extra guarantee that if my luggage was lost I had confidence I would be able to track it down efficiently. I bought 2 so my husband and I both had these tags on our checked luggage.

Got lost on my second flight home
I loved this tag at first. I got it all set up and added all my info with ease. I secured it to the handle of my hard exterior suitcase with the metal ring that came with the tag. I even applied super glue to the threads of the fastener to ensure it did not become detached at any point when I wasn't handling my own luggage. I used it on my checked luggage for 2 direct flights, and upon arrival home after the second flight the tag was missing. I even had "Fragile" stickers on my suitcase on the second flight. Very upset about the amount of money these tags cost and the fact that they didn't even make it through 4 encounters with the individuals working in baggage claim.

Just a tag!? Nothing special...
I bought this as a gift for a friend. She travels a lot and had her luggage lost once at the airport & I knew she would live this, however she hates it. She says there’s no way to locate her luggage. It only allows the person who finds the luggage to find her... IF. They even realize that that little tag is a locator. Basically it’s a just a luggage tag . Nothing more. If I’m wrong let me know. But I ended up buying her another one that she can actually track.

Good Idea, Hopefully Won't See How It Works
Seems like a good idea, but it doesn't prevent theft. It does help an honest person who runs across your stuff know how to contact you for returns. On a recent trip, the bag arrived fine, but the tag was mysteriously missing. I suspect it got caught in the baggage handling system and the steel wire tie broke (?!?).

(recommend attaching with something more secure like zip tie)
Loop used to connect to luggage is not secure. We got a message and recovered it from TSA after the tag fell off so it does work! (recommend attaching with something more secure like zip tie).

The tag and cable is very sturdy and attractive
The tag and cable is very sturdy and attractive. We have now registered the tag and are glad we will have some way to locate our luggage, when we travel abroad this year, incase it is lost. My husband tested it in our home and it worked perfectly. We plan to purchase additional Dynotags for luggage, cameras other items.

Awesome!
Love these! I bought two of them for my upcoming trip. They are nice and easy to spot and I love that they come with a metal ring, so it will not fall off easily. The set up is super easy and I love that you can pick and choose what information the person who scans it can see.

It's Big
This tag is a lot bigger than I realized. Much bigger than like a dog tag or key chain is.

No GPS
Should have read reviews but I'm already leaving for my trip. You're paying $22 for a metal tag and only can show info online if someone bothers to scan it, if it hasn't fallen off by then

Returned item
I bought item as I thought since it was GPS that I myself could track it but it only let's people who find it, track it. I figured there was no sense in that since I always put my name, address and phone number on a paper tag anyway. Just a waste of money

Useless
Don’t waste your money. There is no point if you want it to track items. Only useful if someone finds your item and decides to scan tag.

Good idea but it won’t survive travel
Just back from first trip with this tag and I don’t see it lasting another trip. During handling the tag has become severely bent at the top and I’m not even game to attempt to bend it back as I suspect it will just snap.Good idea, but in practice it’s far too expensive for something that’s only going to last two trips. It just isn’t strong enough to survive the rough handling baggage receives in transit.I will also point out that as this depends on the settings of the persons phone who scans it, if they have location settings locked down it won’t give a location. My bag has been scanned multiple times with no location, only an IP address which isn’t any help
