All gold leaf fountain pens are excellent and at par with branded ones...very smooth and must for fountain pen lovers!!

I have used this before and it's among the best pens ever.
There are groovee on the holding area. Ink and sweat can get stuck there. Though it gives better grip, it isn't the best design.
