The media could not be loaded.  The lock was completely different placement than the website described but overall a cute book. I wouldn't have even noticed the lock difference but one of the main reasons I picked this journal was for the placement of the lock so I feel thats the only reason I noticed. Color was also darker in person but color of product is always a hit or miss no matter what you buy

Got this as a present for a friend she loves it.

Here's my take on this. First it comes with a shoelace type of cord that wraps around the tome to keep the flap secure. It's terrible. If you're anything like me, you're writing in your journal several times a day. This thing won't last. The leather is pretty cheesy as it appears to be stuck onto some kind of cardboard to stiffen it. Although it is lined, I prefer a solid leather cover without any lining etc. The spine is like a lot of these types in that several threads crisscross through the various sections of the book to keep the pages in line. Again, this is done with cheesy thin shoelaces instead of leather. I probably should have sent It back for the one I bought here on Amazon that is all leather and the same price. Look for it, it has a leather strap. One more thing, unlike the one I just mentioned which has very good, non-porous paper, this one has shaggy paper, sort of like raw paper. If you're like me and use a fountain pen when writing you'll have to be careful as the tendency to bleed on this paper is prevalent.

I fill the pages with moments of her strength, her growth, our bond.. and one day, when she's 5x her current age of 5. It will be my presentation of presenting the present of being present in her presence.

The leather outter was thinner than I wanted but that does not make this a bad product. I haven't use mine yet, but it is a great bargain for the price. I would purchase again.

Its very interesting not 100%top quality but they don't charge that price either so ... I'd say it's better than the price value

This sht sucks! I got the unicorn print and i was all excited to have me a unicorn diary and it got here and you can barely tell whats on the cover because the leather stamp aint sht!!!! It also smells toxic, i opened it less than 3 minutes ago and I already have a headache from the smell. I dont want this pollutant in my house and I wouldn't throw it in the garbage because I wouldn't want to make out plant even more chemical-stained than it already is. Trash

Terrible quality. Terrible odor. The stain on the cover came off on my fingers. Threw the notebook in the trash rather than return and have them send it to someone else.
