... nephew is a huge Lego fan and this worked great!
What do you get for the boy who has every lego imaginable, get him super heroes Legos. One of the best part of Lego products is how they work to integrate new storylines out in popular culture. This topical Iron Man set gave me a way to pretty safely select an item and know it wasn't replicated. My nephew is a discerning consumer of Legos. This set kept him well occupied and got voted up to one that got super glued so as to not lose parts and still be able to play with the product.

It was easy to have Amazon send a new box to replace ...
The little boy who put it together loves it. It was easy to have Amazon send a new box to replace the one with a missing piece. I simply took the 1st box to a 7-11 store that had Amazon lockers and used the code Amazon emailed to me and the printed address label from the Amazon link. It didn't cost me anything. A new box arrived quickly and the little guy assembled his Iron Man and the rest.

Cute little set
This is a tiny box, but that being said, it is my first lego purchase for my four year old son. My son loved it, he did need some help from dad to put everything together, but I love that all the pieces are high quality and actually snap together, unlike the bargain brand. This was our first lego purchase and definitely wont be our last! Next time I think for his age I will order the toddler sets.

Pretty Good but no Loki
I know, there isn't supposed to be a Loki in it. Just wishing. The Mandarin, honestly who gives a rip about that character? I understand the message in the movie that he's just a puppet/facade for the true evil behind the man (as is true in many deceptions we take at face value). My kids wanted it so I bought it but I found out they wanted the one with Loki more. Loki, the god of mischief. Doesn't sound like a guy you'd want to be friends with. it'd be fun at times, but it would be equally as maddening.

great to develope other abilities
computers, celphones, ipads etc have develop different abilities in our children, but lego is trying to develop other abilities that our kids need to develop too. such as concentration , they get concentrate with this kind of toys, they create, they use their hands in different ways that they use them with the computer.

Priorities
The only reason I purchased this was for the minifigures, which include the Mandarin (in my mind the worst thing and most stupid thing Marvel could have done to a character with this guys power from the comics) and Iron Man (Heartbreaker Armor). When I bought this set, I wasn't expecting much from the car thing, and I'm glad I didn't. Not only does it never appear in the movie, its just kind of stupid. The construction was very simple, its durable but very ugly, and I mean, what would a flame throwing car have that could take down Iron Man? The minifigures;-Iron Man (Heartbreaker Armor): this is a great minifigure, as it is the first retail Iron Man suit to have printing on the mask, and the torso and legs are very well designed. Kudos to Lego. I also like Tony Starks face in this set. In it, he has a determined, smiling face, and the other and angry face. This is a lot better than Lego's attempt at another face design, which has him smug, and then shocked like hes about to die. The first one kinda fits Tony stark, but the second one, never. Overall great minifigure.-Mandarin: Though is on screen counterpart was a disappointment, Lego did good when designing him. He has a gun for a prop, a tattered torso that looks like that of one from the army, with dark green coat (ripped), sleeveless (goes with the tattered battle worn look), and a munitions belt. The legs are plain, which kinda makes sense. He has a black Dumbledore beard, and a black combed back hairpiece. His head is clean shaven, with a diabolical laughing side, and a neutral side. But if you are looking at Mandarin's, I would recommend the Stark Mansion set, which has him in the costume hes seen in during the videos in Iron Man 3.Overall, okish set, very good minifigures.

How about a challenge that results in a feeling of accomplishment?
This kit presents just the right challenge for my grand son who came away after assembly feeling satisfied that he had accomplished something great. It is fun to assemble and stays together well. You won't be disappointed, but I recommend letting the kids pick out their choice. There are many great Lego choices.
