All Star makes great gear. This mask is lightweight but very durable. The fit is great.

Cheap velcro
I gave it four stars because my assumption looking at this is the velcro to attach the back head strap is cheap and thin. It looks like it is going to wear poorly and break. It also isnt easy to adjust and tighten down. Still pretty loose on my kids noggin.The leather on the forehead and chin is super good quality. Im excited to watch the season and see how it wears . The metal cage is coated well and seams sturdy, hopeful that the coating will last as well.All in all I think its a good mask. These arent NOCSAE certified so be sure to check league rules.

Comfortable with good protection.
Umpiring up to 14-year olds (so far) with this mask. It feels comfortable while offering good protection. I had to work for a while to get the adjustments set as it rides a bit higher than my last mask. As expected, it just takes time to get it right. My hat size is around 7 1/4, and I feel that I am close to the end of the small-side adjustment range. Happy customer.

Great mask
The mask is comfortable and allows for good visibility. It is also lightweight. I would recommend this to any catcher that wants to get out of the hockey style mask.
