Baby Ribbon Candy 11 oz.

It is a tradition to have ribbon candy during the holidays. The only thing I can add was that some were broken, but that is a given.

While one can sometimes tell this product was extruded in ribbon form, it is NOT ribbon candy. It is solid and not translucent — it’s not even shiny, and the “ribbon stripes” are stamped on It’s just typical hard candy (and not particularly good or tasty hard candy), and about twice the thickness of any other vendor’s ribbon candy I’ve had.The stripes of the candy are painted add-ons, not an integral part of the ribbon. This alone disqualifies it as ribbon candy. Even though these are advertised as mini, look at the high percentage of broken pieces just in the handful below. They’re just thrown in a bag with absolutely no protection, and in turn, Amazon threw them in another bag without padding.Even if they looked & tasted right, they are unusable half-melted and broken blobs. Thanks, Amazon, and great thinking, Primrose Candy Company. Fire your packaging designer.There are absolutely no discernible flavors other than that of grainy sugar. I make far tastier hard candy at home for far less $.These both look too ugly and taste too gross for me to put out in my candy dishes this holiday. I assume I can’t return it since it’s a food product but i’d rather have given the Food Bank the $ I spent on bags of these rather than feeding the trash can with it.You can make your own, though it’s a fiddlely process. I’ll do it next year, though. If this recipe is 4 generations old, it should have been burnt when its creator passed.Really, no words can convey how horribly disappointing and disgusting these — you can’t call it candy — genetically engineered corn syrup blobs are.SAVE YOURSELF! RUN AWAY NOW!!!

These brought back memories. They tasted great but they were all smashed to little peices. Maybe 1 or 2 whole ones and the rest were pulverized to almost dust. It was a huge let down. I don't know if it was a old bad batch but it couldn't have been done in transit since it was packaged well. It's as if they were small peices before they got into the bag. I don't recommend buying them. Very disappointing.

It was good but too much peppermint ribbon in it.

Upside- good amount for the price. Candy is thick- more like ribbon shaped hard candies- not really what I was expecting. Package arrived a bit damaged and over 1/2 were broken.

Too sweet not enough flavor

Just do not buy this product! As others have said it is NOT RIBBON CANDY!!! Read the other reviews. It is thick, chewy, broken small pieces that are probably left overs from making the real stuff. This product description is misleading, the contents are not packed for shipping (obvious from the small, broken pieces), there are no returns, and, most importantly, the actual content bears no relation to “ribbon candy”. Throwing it out. Would not trust anything from this merchant!

This candy is very good, all the different flavors are very good, I have ordered several bags so that I will have them for suture use.
