Beautiful & Impressive Steam
For one, it is an absolute beautiful machine and does a great job. I needed it for my business and personal needs. I was tired of buying Irons every year, sometimes less. I need a product that will last. I consulted with several people stating theirs was still going strong after 8 years. I will follow up on this product in a few myself. It does an excellent job at steaming fabric and seams. The exterior has a finish that everything/dust likes to cling to, so if you get it and wonder about the dust, that is why. Simply wipe it down each time. It is a tad noisy at first prime and beeps and runs alot. I have a child with autism so it can bother people that may be sensitive to noise. You can bypass the 10 minute shut off by holding power button until it flashes red...Great for up and down quilters. You do have to push a button and hold to make it steam so if you have bad arthritis, then it could be an issue. I love that it has the protective sole plate. I do alot of tshirt quilts for my business, and this iron with protective sole plate can go over top and not ruin the shirt...get excellent ironed seams. Before I battled and skipped over ironing if a logo was near the seam but not any more with this iron. I do LOVE this iron even with my stated drawbacks already. Expensive, yes, but it is built to last.

Enjoy ironing/steaming...
I was replacing an old iron and needed to have the steam feature working well for quilting. This is fantastic! I enjoy my ironing/steaming clothes now! It heats up quickly, is easy to use and I love that I can roll it away and put it in the closet when not in use. It heats up quickly to provide steam, has a hot plate that I can rest the iron on and a cord holder for the ironing board that keeps the heavier-than-normal cord up out of my way. Expensive, but worth it for me, who holds on to things until they break....which I hope it never does!

Best Iron ever!
no. I did not get pay for this review. I hate iron with a passion. However, I just want to see if this iron was any better than Reliable or Rowenta that I had. Wow. What a difference. My pants are pressed...even without starch. It takes wrinkles out like butter. I am in love with ironing!!

Sorry, I gave one star because the first one didn't work and the second one takes 10 minutes to cycle on. Other than that it irons beautifully, just a bit frustrated!

I have owned a few Rowenta irons for years, but decided to try this. I really hate ironing and was looking for a better solution. THIS IS IT! Ironing clothes with my Laurastar Lift Plus is a breeze! Great steam - far exceeds any of my Rowenta irons. Clothes do not get damp. Wrinkles gone immediately. Makes great creases, too. For delicate items, I just hang on a hanger and use the steam. Could not be happier! This item is pricey, but so worth it.
