I prefer these to the patties. They're slightly smaller and easier for my dog to eat. They don't smell, either. They also cost a tiny bit less than the patties. They're still slow to absorb water, but my dog doesn't care. Scarfs it down immediately every time. Poop is tiny now, no skin issues, no chewing on paws, teeth are noticeable whiter. Just be prepared for the outrageous expense. One bag lasts me about 4-5 days for my mid-size dog (32 lbs.).

Nutritious, perfectly sized for our small pup (12 pounds) and apparently delicious (according to her; I haven't tried them). They smell STRONGLY of fish: I once left a bag slightly open by accident and came home and the apartment absolutely reeked of fish. This is a good thing! Great, natural, raw ingredients -- just not my favorite to carry in a coat pocket, unless you want your gloves to smell like a Seafood Counter. I love the consistency: they're strong and hold their shape well, but can be easily crumbled over food as a topping.Bonus: I recently carried a bag with me on my walk by the lake, where I often toss nuts to the crows, who are pretty picky about treats. They have been unimpressed by other dog treats, but they are into the Stella & Chewy Salmon and Cod mixers.

My pup absolutely loves it! I always mix it with his dry food, and that’s the only way he will eat all his meals. The moment he sees me reach for the container, his excitement is off the charts! This is a great item My dog loves it. Too bad he will NOT be getting any tonight because, again, Amazon delivery was late.. I gave up dinner out with a friend so I would not miss the Amazon truck. AFTER 10:00 p.m. I hear the Amazon truck - then watch it drive right past my house & stops 5 houses away. Driver never got out of the truck/vanUpdate:: the Amazon truck did come around my house again and it stopped. It wasn’t until almost 24 hours later though. My dog still loves this food. I love feeding it to him as a topper or as a treat. I wish the delivery people would understand that the customers work also and depend on delivery as promised. I had to cook for my fur baby the night they drove right past my house and after cooking for the family I was quite upset. The product is an awesome product, a little pricey for me but well worth the cost for the nutrition that the fur baby gets.

I didn't realize that the meal mixers and the patties were the same thing.Either way add a little water and these little guys turn into a nice meal for the dog.At first I was feeding them to her dry and then I realized I was supposed to wet them.That's what you get for not reading the directions.Anyway she loved them.They're very expensive so I'll just buy them and use them as a special treat with her homemade food.

My husky and my Shiba Inu loved this and couldn’t get enough! My elderly Shiba Inu’s stomach tends to be on the more sensitive side, but she never had any issues with this topper. Healthy stool and appetite for both dogs. My husky is OBSESSED with lamb, but will not touch anything that doesn’t have ‘enough’ lamb in it. He went nuts for this topper and at some point even refused to eat his dinners without it. The only downside is the price, it is a bit higher end so more of a treat than a staple food item. But if you can afford it, try it! Your dogs will thank you!
